Cat Ba National Park covers 15,200 ha, including 9,800 ha of forest and 5,400 ha of sea surface. In particular, the strict protection area of 800 hectares is the primary forest, the remaining 14,000 hectares is the ecological restoration.
Cat Ba is a special national park with a combination of different ecosystems: limestone forest ecosystems in the limestone mountains, wet highland ecosystems, mangrove ecosystems, marine ecosystems with inshore reefs, cave systems with distinctive habitat for bats and plantations located between valleys such as Khe Sau or communes along the valey.

8.00: Van and tour guide pick up 8.20: ToNational Park gate. Buy entrance fee and start trekking. 8.30 -11.30: On the trail through the tropical forest you will be immersed in nature and see many butterfly.. 11.30: You will stop at frog pond (trail from Park gate to frog pond is 6 km). This is the largest freshwater lake in the middle of the National Forest. From the bottom of the pond, reaching up to thousands of trees and water - the species is only found in the Frog ponds not found anywhere else in the island. There are many types of fish and crab in the pond. 12.00 - 13.00: continue the journey from Frog Pond to Viet Hai village (3.5 km) This is a small village of local residents with about 100 families. 13.00: Have lunch and take a rest at Viet Hai village, take a fun experience by fish massage your feet. 14.00: free to explore the lives of people in the village, Cycling 5km to Viet Hai harbor. 15.00: Boat will take you through Lan Ha Bay, you have a chance to admire the scenery of beautiful Lan Ha Bay, Cai Beo fishing village. Our boat will stop at a floating house to take kayak then rows to a wild beach for swimming 16.45: Back to Cai Beo pier, Car take you to Cat Ba town.

5.00Our tour guide Anh was very kind and helpful! He spotted lots of local wildlife for us and explained what they were. Every step of the trip was handled for us and we had a great day. The tour was absolutely worth it and we even got a really cool video at the end.

5.00We had an incredible experience today thanks to our guide, Anh. The tour took us through the wild heart of Cat Ba National Park. The scenery was spectacular, and the jungle trek was the perfect mix of fun and adventure. Anh was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, which added great value to the hike. The itinerary was perfectly executed, featuring lunch in Viet Hai village, a stunning bike ride, and a relaxing boat and kayak tour of Lan Ha Bay. As a bonus, Anh is a skilled video maker and quickly produced a professional video of our highlights. A perfect day!

5.00The trek that was organized was exceptional. Hiking to the village hai, eating, bathing in the fish, cycling, boating and kayaking: everything was up to the job and more. And above all the guide Anh is great: it combines all the qualities to this craft kindness, skill and in addition smile and humor. She is a great person to discover who will make you live something you will never forget. Thanks again to Anh and his company because I leave with this exceptional memory. And I would like to add that Anh managed to create a good dynamic among us who came alone. We left happy to have met.

5.00The trek was a good length, took around 4 hours with a few breaks. The views were great through the park and once we went for the bike ride the views were incredible. Anh was a great guide, and created a cool video of the day for all involved to keep which was a fantastic addition to the day.

5.00We had an incredible, unique, and truly unmatched experience. Our guide was Anh, a person with immense peace and deep respect for nature, and with very fluent English through which he explained everything his eyes saw and all his knowledge during the trek. He respected moments of peace and silence, and spoke only when necessary. We felt very comfortable and well taken care of. The most amazing part: he allowed us to completely forget about filming videos of the landscapes or the experience, because in addition to being a guide, he is also a filmmaker. He recorded videos throughout the entire trek, later edited them together, and shared with us a video capturing the whole experience. We couldn’t have asked for more. I highly recommend that if you decide to do this, you choose ANH as your guide. We have never had such a beautiful experience. It is a stunning trek, with a super delicious lunch, fish massages offered, then a very beautiful bike ride to explore the island, and finally a lovely kayaking experience. Anh set the bar extremely high for us.

5.00We had a great day hiking, cycling and kayaking with Anh and our small group. Anh was helpful and friendly and made sure we had enough time to do everything. He even bought us snacks and picked up rubbish left behind by other tourists. Cat Ba island beautiful and we felt very fortunate to spend time in the National Park as well as on the water. Good shoes and moderate fitness is all that's needed for a great day.

5.00I had the most wonderful time on this trip. It combines everything (hiking, kayaking and cruise) you want to do in Cat Ba without having to swim in the cooler waters. Anh was very friendly and even brought the group snacks. During the hike he pointed out amazing animals that I would not have seen - this adds to the amazing scenery in the National Park. Especially helpful was Anh when I lost my phone in the back of the car, when they drove me to my hotel - I got it back immediately! Thank you. Be aware that condition and confidence in one‘s footing is necessary as the hike has some little difficult parts where you need your hands too.
