Paracas
After an approximately 4-hour drive from Lima, you will arrive at Paracas, a picturesque fishing port and starting point to explore the southern coast of Peru. Upon arrival, you will have free time to enjoy a seafront breakfast and prepare for the maritime adventure. Afterwards, you will board a speedboat to the Ballestas Islands. During this 2-hour tour of the Pacific Ocean, you’ll sail among stunning rock formations where you can closely observe a variety of glovebirds such as pelicans, boobies and tendrils, plus sea lions lounging on rocks and swimming around the boat. You can also see the charismatic Humboldt penguin, a protected species that lives in this area. Before you reach the islands, you will stop to admire the Paracas Candlestick, a huge geoglyph carved into the desert slope, visible only from the sea. An unforgettable experience for lovers of nature and marine life.
Culturpisco
After the excursion to the Ballestas Islands, we will continue to CulturPisco, a renowned artisan winery located in the heart of Ica. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by local guides who will explain in a clear and entertaining way the whole process of making pisco and wine, from grape harvest to distillation and aging. You’ll tour the traditional winery facilities, see the presses, stills and fermentation vessels, and learn why pisco is considered Peru’s flagship drink. Then, you will participate in a guided tasting, where you will taste different varieties of wines and piscos, discovering their aromas, notes and alcoholic strength. To finish this part of the tour, you will enjoy a typical regional lunch in the restaurant of the same place, surrounded by vineyards and with a relaxed atmosphere that completes the enogastronomic experience.

5.00The organization and experience of this tour is unique. The biggest highlight is the buggy tour, sand boarding and sunset views. Even tough the tour is long and takes the whole day (4:00-23:00) there is plenty of time to rest and prepare for all the frequent activities. The group size was perfect for the bus size and for the guide. The bus driver and tour guide (Jordan) where very polite and clear with the information and instructions. The boat tour of Paracas can be variable not only regarding climate but also how many species and quantity of them that you may see. There are some commercial stops for promoting products but they are quick and understanding if you are not interested. Overall I will rate it a 5 and always more time at Huacachina will be even better.

5.00They were on time for pick up in the hotel lobby, well comfortable transportation there. The tour guide was great, he spoke english for us because we are not Spanish speakers. Overall the tour was lovely. Highly recommend.
