After reaching the meeting point, an organized team of mountains experts with terrain vehicles will wait for you to bring you into the mystical mountains of National Park Pelister.
Reach 2200 meter, where you'll take a beautiful walk around the two little lakes at 2180 and 2200 meters above sea level. Breathe the fresh mountain air while standing in the clouds and enjoy the astonishing views. During the ride coffee breaks and photo stops will be made.
The beauty of this landscape is shaped by the diverse wildlife: bears, roe deer, wolves, chamois, wild boars, eagles and many more. This bumpy off-road adventure will lead you through various natural gems. But the most special one is definitely the mythical ‘Eyes of Pelister’.
Additional: For 15-euro p.p. you can have homemade local lunch in a mountain hut. This includes homemade stew, feta cheese, salads, bread, rakija, wine and many more. Feel free to eat and drink as much as you like. This is paid on the spot.

The 4x4 jeeps will be warmed up and waiting for your arrival. With plenty of photo stops these all-terrain vehicles will bring you into the clouds on top of the mountain.

Hike + Lunch. When arriving at the top of the mountain, you will have a small hike accompanied by our botanist guide. He will enrich you with the astonishing information about the flora and fauna of this unique natural reservoir. Until you reach the small mountain lake of Pelister, where we will have a break in one of our mountain huts and outside in the fresh air. This mystical spot is an interesting place for making pictures, due to the fact that the clouds are on the same altitude as us. Optional, you can enjoy a traditional Macedonian lunch. These local dishes are homemade and all products used are local. Feel free to eat and drink as much as you desire! Even the homemade rakija and wine are for sharing. Cost: 15 euro p.p. on the spot.

5.00A very nice experience with beautiful views. The swim in the lake was wonderfully cold but refreshing, so don't forget to bring your swimwear. Up in the mountain hut we enjoyed delicious food. The guides told with passion and created a cozy atmosphere. Definitely recommended to see the Macedonian landscape from the mountain top.

4.00This really is a jeep safari and be prepared to bounce around on very rough roads - the scenery and views more than make up for it and it adds to the whole experience. Our guide was excellent and very informative telling us about the history of the area

5.00It was an amazing experience, many thanks to our wonderful guide Petar who is very knowledgeable and experienced. The views and scenery were breathtaking, providing many photo opportunities that will become cherished memories. We also enjoyed a delicious meal of regional Macedonian produce, served by Petar with the typical warmth of Macedonian hospitality

4.00It's a really good experience to see parts of Nth Macedonia not near Lake Ohrid (about 90 mins away to the meeting place with the jeeps). There were 8 of in total in 2 jeeps..Our driver was fun & informative about both nature & historically. Nature wise it was really lovely (lots of spring flowers which varied as we climbed to 2300m. Still snow at the top (& thunder!). Good job we chose the €15 lunch as absolutely nothing else at the top except clean air & beautiful views! It did rain, so be prepared for colder weather & possible rain! A worthwhile day!

5.00The mountain expedition was a good way to explore nature. We had a very knowledgeable guide who told us much about the history of the country. We drove up the mountains on paths that are otherwise only suitable for hikers (brake yourself), sampled natural springs, had a wonderful picnic, enjoyed the view of the lakes in the valley and even saw snow. (Note: there is no botanist on this excursion but we did not miss him.) Transfer is provided. It might be good if the minivan had a sign with the company's name or the destination because there were many shuttles at my hotel looking for their customers. All in all, a great experience and a good way to get a way from the hustle and bustle of Ohrid in high season.
