Lawrence's Spring
Lawrence Spring - This natural water source with cool water running down the mountains into the throughs, is the camels' favorite hangout! With small trees and the almost fluorescent green moss, this is a true oasis. Relax here, just as the Bedouins and their herds used to do, and watch how herds of camels pass by, longing for fresh water. Or climb up the mountain to see spectacular views and the many inscriptions of Thamudic origin
Jebel Khazali
Khazali Canyon - From the outside, this looks like an ordinary mountain, but when you enter the canyon between the split mountains, you take a journey back in time. You can see the traces of the merchants who traveled with their caravans from Egypt to Damascus, and of the pilgrims who passed through the canyon to Mecca. See the fascinating Thamudic, Nabatean, and Islamic inscriptions, and petroglyphs of humans, animals, and soles of feet when you enter the canyon. And a series of basins in the back.
Wadi Rum Protected Area
Red Sand Dune - This is the most famous sand dune in Wadi Rum! It owes its red color to a high concentration of iron oxide. It seems like a simple climb, but the sand is soft and difficult to walk on, which makes it challenging for tourists to climb, but very entertaining for the locals to watch. At the top you can enjoy amazing panoramic views of the valley. The best way to get down is running or sandboarding
Wadi Rum Protected Area
Little Bridge - Through years of various severe weather influences, this natural Little Bridge has been formed on a rock formation in the Khor El Ajram area. It is called Little Bridge because it’s only a few meters high and easy to climb, but the views are stunning and on pictures it looks pretty big and impressive. It’s perfect for families with children, and those who don’t want to climb too high. When you come down again, a cup of sweet tea awaits you in the Bedouin tent where you can buy souvenirs or relax and hang out with locals.
Lawrence's House
Lawrence's House - Lawrence's house plays an important role in the history of Wadi Rum. Nabateans laid the foundation for this place over 2000 years ago which was used as a stop for the passing caravans. Later it became known as Lawrence's house, because TE Lawrence, in the story "Lawrence of Arabia" was based here. When you reach the top after a short climb, you will be amazed by the countless piles of stones. In the past, the Bedouins used to stack stones as road markings. You can see far into the vast desert plain, which again makes for great photos.
Wadi Rum Protected Area
Traditional Bedouin Lunch - We will take you to a nice place with a good view, where your guide prepares a delicious traditional lunch, cooked outside on the fire. The menu is different every day, but we like to cook you a warm meal with vegetables, bread, hummus, yoghurt, and other local treats. While we are cooking, you can explore the area with a hike, or just sit down and relax while you enjoy the Wadi Rum landscape.
Wadi Rum Protected Area
Abu Khashaba Canyon - Stretch your legs and enjoy a nice walk in this deep narrow valley, surrounded by tall mountain walls. There’s a lot of green, which makes a beautiful contrast with the red desert sand. You will see many different types of trees and plants, and hear countless birds chirping. The locals have hung bottles to collect the rainwater so that the birds can drink from it. It is a real oasis of peace. The walk takes 30 to 45 minutes, and your guide will pick you up on the other side.
Wadi Rum Protected Area
Umm Fruth Rock Bridge - This 15-meter-high bridge is the most famous bridge in Wadi Rum. It is not a historical place but it is the ultimate place to take enviable photos. Give your phone or camera to your guide who will stay on the ground and take an impressive photo of you on top of the bridge. The locals run up and down the bridge with ease, but for tourists it is a bit more challenging. That is why small holes have been made which makes the climb a bit easier.
Wadi Rum Protected Area
Mushroom Rock - In Wadi Rum there are many famous rock formations, known for its unusual and sometimes even funny shape. The Musroom shaped rock owes its shape to years of erosion, with the lower part wearing out faster than the upper part. Mushroom Rock is fun place to take nice pictures and find some shelter. Bedouins used rock formations like this to seek shelter, after walking in the hot desert for hours.
Wadi Rum Protected Area
Burdah Rock Bridge - At the top of Jabal Burdah, you will find one of the highest natural rock bridges in the world. During the jeep tour we make a stop close by so that we can admire the bridge from a distance. The total climb to the bridge can take up to 4 hours, this is not included in the jeep tour and can be booked via a hiking tour or upon request.
Wadi Rum Protected Area
White Desert - Wadi Rum is known for the red sand where most of the highlights of the tour are, but further south the area changes into the white desert. It seems as if you have entered a completely different world. This area is not yet heavily visited by tourists, so there is much more flora to discover and a better chance to spot wildlife. It’s very special to stand in the white sand and see the transition to the red part in the distance. You can also notice a difference in the landscape, the rock formations and even the sand itself.
Wadi Rum Protected Area
Sunset Viewpoint - Wadi Rum is known for having the most breathtaking sunsets. And we know the best places to watch it! We will take you to a secluded area where you can overlook the wide panoramic landscape as the sun sets, while we prepare some sweet Bedouin tea on the fire. Just sit on the mattrass or in the sand and take in all the beauty you see around you.
Overnight with dinner - Here we will spend the night and enjoy the dinner and set around the fire with listening for a bedouin story .

Zaid and his cousin are on top. We had booked a 2-day jeep tour with overnight at the camp and guide. Their cuisine is delicious, even in the middle of the desert. They adapted to the rhythm of the family and took us to fabulous places, without anyone. To recommend if you are looking for a sublime experience.

My friend and I spent four days and four nights at Bedouin Roads - it was amazing!! Ahmed was our guide; each day he brought us to a new hike, cooked lunch out in the desert, walked through beautiful canyons, and saw sunset. The camp location was very peaceful (we were the only guests the first two nights). For two of the nights, we slept on mattresses in an enclosure by the tent, so that we could fall asleep under the stars. Breakfast and dinner was prepared by Abdo; the maqluba and the food prepared traditional Bedouin style (under the sand) was especially delicious. Zayd was also very helpful and we just chatted quite a bit, as he had very good English. Overall would highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed at Zeid's Bedouin Camp for two nights. The hospitality shown to us by him and his father was truly incredible. After the really good dinners, we sat together by the fire for a long time and learned a lot about life in the desert and the culture of the Bedouins in Wadi Rum. The camp is very secluded and the best choice if you are looking for the tranquility of the desert and want to enjoy nature. In contrast to the increasing number of “luxury camps” run by large investors, Zeid's camp is one of the authentic ones. We are already planning our next visit there.

We stayed two nights with Bedouin Roads and one of those nights we slept in their private cave under the stars, surrounded by candles. It was magical! We were the only two in the camp, which was a luxury. We did book a private tour for the two days we went out in the dessert which was a small additional fee and totally worth it. Our guide Ahmed was super kind, knew everything about the dessert and happy to answer our questions. He took us far into the dessert, which apparently many companies now don't do. I checked our location on google maps and we were almost at the border with Saudi Arabia at one point. Also in the night we really had a great view of the stars because the camp was actually located in the dessert, and not somewhere close to the edge of town or the highway where there is too much light pollution. By taking two days to tour the dessert we had time to visit less popular locations and the second day we barely saw any other people. You are away from just after breakfast (which is excellent, as are the meals) until after sunset, which you watch from a lovely and different location each evening. The english of Ahmed and his cousin Zaid are excellent. We also heard from many friends who went in past years that they had guides who barely spoke english and couldn't explain a thing. Bedouin Roads is owned and run by locals who have lived in and with the dessert for as far as they can remember. This reflects in what they can show and tell you.

From the very first message, communication was excellent – fast, friendly, and personal. The team customized the entire tour to our wishes, which made the experience truly unique. Our guide was extremely experienced and shared a lot of interesting insights about the desert, nature, and Bedouin life. During the tour, there was always flexibility – we could take our time at the viewpoints, walk a bit further than others, and really enjoy the silence and vastness of the desert. The camel ride, the jeep tour through the stunning rock formations, and the hike up Jebel Um Adaami were all unforgettable highlights. In the evening, we gathered around the fire, shared stories under a sky full of stars, and enjoyed a delicious traditional dinner cooked in an underground sand oven — absolutely amazing! Everything was perfectly organized, yet it never felt rushed. A truly authentic and memorable experience — highly recommended!

The stay was really lovely. We reached the camp by camel, quietly enjoying the beautiful landscape of Wadi rum at sunset. The meals prepared were very good and plentiful. The communal tent for meals was very nice and cozy. The outdoor lounge for tea and chat very impressive. The sleeping tents were very basic (as they should be), but comfortable. The organization of visits was impeccable. In a day and a half (two nights) we did many things, accompanied by our educated, witty and very kind hosts. An unforgettable stay that I would like to do again.
