Begin the trip to Lawrence Spring, where you and your guide will climb to the top to discover a natural spring and water source.
Jebel Khazali
At the center of the Wadi Rum Protected Area stands Jebel Khazali, a prominent peak that conceals a remarkable secret within its core. Inside a slender fissure, roughly 100 meters in length, you'll find a treasure trove of history. Its walls are adorned with Thamudic, Nabatean, and Islamic inscriptions, alongside petroglyphs that bring to life both humans and animals. Of particular note are the intriguing petroglyphs of soles of feet, believed to hold deep religious significance. These engravings were first documented by the French epigraphist Savignac in 1932, with some of his findings published in 1934.

5.00We had an incredible time in Wadi Rum. Our guide Abdullah is an incredible young man who showed us around the desert 🏜️, cooked a meal for us. He quickly became friends with my kids and did the treks with them, and snow boarded with them. The stay in the camps was comfortable with decent food and clean bathrooms. Greatful for the wonderful time!
