1.00The guide did not contact me, when I contacted him the night before he told me that the excursion would only be half a day. I asked him to cancel, which he did after various teetering, and I arranged otherwise, however I strongly advise against this person.

1.00The operator cancelled this tour but failed to notify me proactively. I had to contact him myself, which I did the day before the tour soon after landing into Kuwait just to be sure, which I normally do when I book tours and was repeatedly assured the tour would proceed despite a “car breakdown,” even shortly before start time on the day of the tour. What I could not understand is when he knew the car had broken down one day before, why was he trying to fix it on the morning of the tour. My tour was scheduled to begin at 10am. Anyway, this violates basic reliability even though the operator apologized which actually did not solve anything for me. Not recommended if you have just a day in Kuwait like a short layover or stopover in the city like I did. Very very disappointing indeed. Even the Viator agent who was polite and apologetic could not confirm anything and only offered a full refund which I had no choice but to accept which resulted in a complete breakdown of my plan to see Kuwait. Still waiting for a full refund as promised and at least some kind of compensation or proactive gesture of goodwill for my next booking on Viator in the event I decide to book through Viator.

5.00This was an absolute delight of a tour!! I cannot recommend this enough. We got to see so much of the city and experience a ton of local sites. Walid was so knowledgeable and kept us safe and informed. We got to see beautiful parts of the desert, city and outer urban areas. Museums, cultural centers, camel farms, souls, it's got it all!! Definitely recommend for anyone who only has a day to tour to city or want to get your bearings while in town.

5.00The Kuwait tour with Walid Amer was excellent. He guided us through the top sights in Kuwait City, and we really enjoyed our conversations about Kuwaiti culture, traditions, and more. I highly recommend him to anyone visiting Kuwait.

4.005 stars for the tour itself. Walid was very knowledgeable and the tour took in many places of interest. He was courteous, offered to take photos and provided water and juice. Nothing was rushed and the tour's pace and itinerary was dictated by the customers which was great. An excellent way to see Kuwait with an excellent guide. One star is deducted was because it was the second attempt at the tour, it was cancelled on the day planned at 15 minutes notice. Luckily I messaged that I could make the following day and that went ahead. From the other reviews I've seen I would say book for a day early in your stay so that you can move the trip if necessary because it is well worth doing.
