"Pampa de Canota" is one of the most beautiful places to practice Mountain Bike in Mendoza. Still, it's a place difficult to arrive. The landscape is enormous and also dangerous if you don't know the place because there are no towns kilometers around. That is also the magic of this place. The nature trails, downhills of more than 20km long and the chance to meet the wildlife (guanacos, foxes, condor) turns this place in the ideal place to practice Mountain Bike in a conscious and responsible way.

After picking you up, we will go by car (Pick Up or similar) to Uspallata, to take the Route 13, which conduces us to our starting point near the "Pampa de Canota" (in the Natural Reserve of Villavicencio). Once there, we take our bikes and begin our Bike Ride! We'll ascend about 2 km to reach our highest point (3100 m.a.s.l). Then we will start our downhill trip: at first we will ride about 10km throught a very beautoful and not-steep car tracks discovering how nice is being in the middle of the nature. Then we ascend a 2 km path, preparing ourselves to get in to the single trails. This single trails are level "medium" and consist in 20 kilometers of an only downhill way. It's not difficult, but you must have experience on trails. It is NOT for beginners. After the trails we make our last effort ascending 3 kilometers up to the Finca, where we are going to enojy a well diserved meal! We will make some stops (about 2 to 4) to gather the group together and continue. We will see some wild animals like guanacos, foxes, maybe condors, etc. and amazing landscapes (big mountains with no humanity around). When we finish this ride, we will eat an "asado" (our national barbecue) with the best meat of Argentina. After this, our transfer will be waiting for us to take you back to your hotel.

5.00Had a wonderful time biking in the Andes. The trip was exactly the level of difficulty I was looking for and was taken to a wonderful reserve. We started at 3100 and made our way down to 1,500 meters. I was pleased to find a tour that was aligned with my skill level and fitness as there are lots of tours out there where I don't feel challenged or under-stimulated - this was the contrary - absolutely amazing! Nacho is a great guide, super friendly and made some very nice personal touches. He took great care in the safety and preparation of the tour as well. I highly recommend to book a tour with Nacho (Mendo Bikes) if you are looking for that hang out with friends type of workout/exploration type feel away from home. Thanks Nacho! Looking forward to the next time!

5.00By far the best MTB output that can be done in Mendoza, It is not only the landscape ( that leaves you speechless) but also the trail for the canota pomp It's a thing from another planet, the descent is incredible. The dream of any mountain biker And the roast at the end of the day puts the bow on a spectacular adventure. Don't miss it.

5.00Incredible start, despite the fact that there was a low cloud (we were at 3 thousand meters above sea level) and the view did not go far enough to fully appreciate the landscape, the place is 100% natural, with high possibilities of seeing guanacos running nearby, with a constant descent that tests the average rider (experience and fitness are needed) as well as the expert, since the terrain allows to regulate the speed. The start was organized very professionally with guides to the head and tail of the group, excellent transport, and the roast at the end of the descent a delight and abundant. If you ask me about the descent itself, in short go down without limit of speed (only the one that one considers safe to his abilities) for hours until you cramp your legs and forearms, avoiding obstacles over great variety of terrain, the dream of any mountain biker. At the end of the descent no one could stop laughing with emotion.

5.00I enjoyed one of the best MTB outings I have ever done. The scenery and places we traveled are beautiful. Very good organization and excellent attention from the guides regarding the safety, technical advice and status of each participant. Transportation and logistics also very good. Highly recommended!
