On our one day tour to Oban from Glasgow you’ll experience a little of everything that Scotland’s spectacular natural beauty has to offer.
This is the rugged Western Highlands where majestic mountains tumble down to glorious lochs. Castles and glens hide tragic tales of centuries ago, and bustling ports serve up tasty food and award-winning attractions.
Your friendly driver-guide will bring Scottish legends to life as we share our country, from the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond to haunting Glencoe.

Chris was an amazing and patient driver and tour guide. He was always very flexible when it came to changing the stops to fit the weather alongside the itinerary, so that we could still enjoy the views without getting wet or at least not so badly. There was ample time for major attractions to rest and relax, and to enjoy the many different stops. I highly recommend this tour to everyone who is visiting Glencoe, Inveraray and Oban for the first time.

This tour offers a perfect introduction to regions outside the large cities in Scotland-particularly the western coastal area. We enjoyed a sampling of the beauty and culture of these more obscure areas, and now my husband and I can't wait to return to spend even more time in these places! Scott was a wonderful guide and driver, and he narrated many facts and stories about the areas as we traveled, and played some Scottish music for us in the van, as well! He was always friendly, willing to answer any questions, and cared about the guests on his tour by making sure they knew exactly where/when to meet to get back on the van as we visited each area. The van was clean and comfortable, and there were several opportunities for restrooms or food along the way. I would definitely take another tour with this company in the future.

Yesterday we had a tour with Billy. We had a package Oban, Western Highlands, Lochs, Castles & Glencoe 1 Day Tour. Billy knows a lot about history, fun facts or tips about the places we visit or the one place we happen to drive by. There was plenty of time in Oban to visit the lunches and the tower of Mc Caig’s. In Inveraray there is also plenty of time to walk to the castle. Billy took us to beautiful photo spots. There was plenty of time to take beautiful pictures. It was a pleasant 1 day trip.

Tony was extremely informative and passionate about his job. If I ever come back to Scotland I'd book him again. Lots of photo ops on the trip and time to explore. And he looked dashing in his kilt!

Best tour I've done, hands down! The tour itself was stunning, but our guide was phenomenal! I had a disabled family member with me and Gary went above and beyond helping to assist. His commentary was both informative and very humorous. Stop reading this and go book yourself a tour!

Oban, Western Highlands, Lochs, Castles & Glencoe was the final leg of 1 day tour, this was the only tour we took leaving out of Glasgow. Kieran was our tour guide and he was super friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us tips of places to eat, get drinks, and tips where to find specific things. I absolutely love the small buses because it made feel so personal. He for sure was my husbands favorite tour guide. I loved Oban and it's a must see, along with Glencoe, is stunning! If I ever come back to Scotland, I will book my tours with Discover Scotland with no regrets. I highly recommend them!!
