  My wife and I booked the full day fishing trip with these boys! It was truly unforgettable! we saw pilot whales, hundreds of Dolphins and sea turtles and the best part was the massive blue marlin that I got to reel in. Highly recommend booking with Anzuelo Dorado Sport fishing!

  The captain and crew of this boat were awesome. They bring a chill and positive attitude to the whole experience. We had 4 kids on this trip from 5-10 years old and all of them had a great time. The mate was patient with the kids and helped a ton. We were lucky the fishing had been slow the prior few days but we ended up with 1 wahoo, 2 mahi mahi, and a load of gouper. Catching isn't guaranteed but this boat works hard to put you on fish and make sure everyone has a great time. They cleaned and filleted our fish beautifully. I will definitely fish with them again the next time I am in Costa Rica.

  

  

  

  

  

• Fabulous Fishing Trip

  Had a fabulous time on Anzuelo Dorado, it was non stop fishing and was able to get our first sailfish. My wife and I had a blast onboard and we are already looking for our next chance to get back down for another charter with Captain Garrett.

  Garrett go us on the Dorado early. We caught 11 Dorado, but to top it off both my daughters and I caught a triple at the same time. Great Times!! Oh and maybe I forgot to mention I caught Big Black Marlin. Once in a lifetime trip for us.

  

  

• High flying Tuna!

  I fish all over the world. I write my review for the fellow angler looking for something different. Garrett is an excited fisherman, or maybe just mad at the fish. It’s hard to tell, but either way you will not be disappointed. He had us on fish from jump street. We had Tuna jumping 7 and 10 feet out of the water, while being chased by the spinner dolphins. Hell one of them almost landed in the BOAT! We could have caught 40 or 50 tuna if we had chosen. However we were in search of other fish. The Marlin bite was very slow but had plenty in the area. Ended the day with a limit of grouper. New friends great times. Oh and meal of sashimi tuna on the boat. A day I will soon not forget. • Anzuelo Dorado - Phenomenal!

  I have done a ton of sport fishing - from the North Atlantic, Caribbean and Bimini, Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific Ocean and can truly tell you that if you like to fish, boat, or whatever - Capt. Garrett Johnson is your man. Incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable, we got on fish everyday we were out, and even deviated from plan a couple times to maximize the trip. Friendly and professional - Anzuelo Dorado fishing has a client for life. On our full day offshore trip, I almost had to tap out due to the tuna actions, and on the ride back in we got two nice Mahi and saw a billfish, as well as a ton of sea life! Our half day trip was suppose to be in-shore, exposing my 5 an 7 yr olds to fishing, when we decided to chase some more tuna (and caught several close to shore) then capped the morning with some snorkeling and a family picnic. You wont be disappointed, Capt Johnson even let my 7 yr old hang up in the bridge for a little which he still talks about. I cant recommend this crew enough!
