Your professional guide will greet you at the hotel lobby with a welcome board. Then set off by private vehicle to the view-grabbing Heavenly Lake (also called Tianchi Lake). We will arrive at the ticket office with 1.5hrs driving, then following a 40mins shuttle bus to the side of the steely-blue lake. There are three activities that are highly recommended to you: Trek around the wooden walkway, Take a deep excursion on the cruise, Or take the cable car to Maya Mountain for the eye-catching view of Bogda Peak. You will go down the mountain by the shuttle bus, then back to Urumqi with your private vehicle. Tips: 1)You can buy some snacks before the day of departure as you may have a late lunch. 2)The temperature of Heavenly Lake is lower than downtown, so don’t forget to bring warm coat even in summer.

International Bazaar

Travel back to Urumqi in the late afternoon, enjoy a walking tour at Xinjiang International Bazaar, the largest bazaar in Urumqi, Also a paradise for foodie. You will find a bustling market filled with fruit, clothing, cuisine, carpets and almost anything that you can imagine.

Absolutely amazing experience! Lake Tianshan and THE INTERNATIONAL BAZAAR are definitely places for travelers who love immersing themselves in nature & unique cultures. Heavenly Lake ofTianshan is a popular place with beatuifiul scenery and drawback is the huge crowds of tourist. We were lucky as we had Hassan as our guide and took us to trek around the lake and we were away from the crowd. Nice walk of approx 15 km and we could enjoy the solitude, the lovely scenery. We stopped midway to have our simple and yet delicious lunch and just enjoyed the sun and the cool breeze. A wonderful day with good weather, good company ..... what more can one ask for. Thanks to our guide, Hassan for always keeping a watchful eye on all of us.
