  A full day was promised and it was - start at 8.30am and back at nearly 6pm. The drive is 140km and 2 hours each way. Comfortable. A good look at the rather forbidding countryside dotted by villages and towns. On the way an impromptu visit to our guide Ali’s home village with an insight into their life. The Nizwa Fort well worth a visit. Our tour included a visit to several markets - the merchants often welcome our guide with a handshake and a smiling greeting. Very few tourists due no doubt to the war but all very peaceful here. Then up to Jebel Akhdar mountains and a visit to the terraced gardens of olives, pomegranates and roses. Our guide a gentle softly spoken man with quiet humour. A long but satisfying day.

  We loved this tour with our 4 year old. Said Al Kiyumi was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. We’re only in Oman for 3 nights so it was great to see some other parts of the country. We would highly recommend. Big thanks for Said!

  We had a lovely day with Muneer, exploring Nizwa fort and soul and then drop on to Jebal Shams for sightseeing. Muneer was extremely helpful and went out of his way to explain Omani history and culture. Highly recommended.

  We had an amazing tour in Oman with Shaker — truly one of the best experiences of our trip! 🌟 We explored Nizwa Fort and enjoyed incredible views and history, then walked through Nizwa Souq, where Shaker helped us find authentic Omani products and explained the local traditions behind them. It made shopping there so much more special! We also visited the beautiful ruins of Birkat Al Mouz, learned about the traditional aflaj irrigation system, and spent time with a small walk in the stunning mountains of Jebel Akhdar with breathtaking views and fresh air. Shaker was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole day fun and relaxed. Highly recommend touring Oman with him — a perfect mix of culture, history, and unforgettable scenery! 🇴🇲✨

  A brilliant day trip to Nizwa souq & fort plus Jabal Akhdar mountains and Barkat Al Muz old village. A great way to see other parts of Oman away from Muscat. Our guide Khalid helped to make the day, very knowledgable and helpful throughout. Great to do things at our own pace. Would definitely recommend the trip and Khalid.

  We had an excellent tour with Said Al kiyumi as our driver and guide. We were contacted in advance to confirm pickup times from the hotel and provide some additional details of the day. We proceeded on the tour covering all the places expected and all really enjoyed our day out. Said was very knowledgeable, providing so much insight into not only the destinations but also Oman more broadly. Said was a very safe driver and made us all feel at ease.

  Beautiful day especially thanks to our guide abdulazziz. He made us visit Nizwa Fort enchanting us with all its historical tales. And what about the green mountain? A unique place where abdulazziz showed us all the most suggestive and unforgettable corners. A sincere thank you! Super recommended!

  We had a wonderful day with Mohammed Sulaiman. We didn’t do any of the planned itinerary as between booking abc doing the day tour we had already visited Nizwa. Mohammed was great in giving us a range of choices for an alternative itinerary and it was fantastic. One of our best days in Oman

  We spent the day with Khamis Al Wahaibi and genuinely couldn't have asked for a better guide — he gave us the best day of our holiday. We (a group of 3) opted for a private tour to make things easier, and it was well worth the money. Khamis was informative, considerate, attentive and relaxed. He let us rest in the car when we needed to, balanced with providing incredible insights into Omani culture. He made personal suggestions for how to tailor the trip to our needs, and even gave us a bonus tour of Fanja on our way home. He was a confident and sensible driver and was in absolutely no rush to drop us off — he made us feel really valued. I can't recommend him highly enough.

  One of the most amazing experiences we ever had! We went to: Nizwa souq and fort, Jabal Alkhdar, Barkat Almouz old village. Enchanting places and scenaries. The history behind these places adds to the beauty of it all and enriched our experience. Our tour guide, Khalid AlRaqadi, from sunshine tours was exceptional. He was knowledgable, funny, and made us feel very comfortable, he was also very accomodating and tailored the trip to our needs. Khaled was helpful to other tourists as well, which shows how Omani people are very kind and geniune.
