Your private tour will start from your hotel or your cruise ship, passing by some scenic countryside places.

You will pass by Livadeia and Thebes (Thiva), both great ancient cities and after 2hrs the picturesque village of Arachova, which is a popular winter holiday destination with its ski center.

Delphi is the next stop, where you’ll visit both the archaelogical site and museum. Delphi is the fisrt touristic attraction of the antiquity, as it was busy all the year round. It was the place, that the prophecies were given to every man, every prince, general and king. It was the center of the universe, according to Zeus, king of the Gods. You will visit the Oracle of Apollo, the Omphalos, the temple of Athena Pronaia, Kastaleia Spring and see some magnificent artifacts and statues, such as Eniochos the charioteer, the twin Brothers and Sphynx of Naxos.

After your lunch there with a great view of mountain Parnassus and Itea , it is time to return to Athens. Let’s make your day Golden.

We have just spent a magnificent three day tour with our wonderful tour guide Lazaro. His knowledge of the places : historical, mythological, geographical and religious was exceptional not withstanding his knowledge of the best local restaurants and food ! We had a lot of laughs and we’ve become friends for life ! Thank you Lazare. Godspeed will be back soon. Lots of love 3 crazy Australian ladies

We had a great time with our driver Arthur on our way to and from Delphi. He was so accommodating and entertaining. He made the day so relaxing. We like local spots and he took us to a few which made the trip more personal. The guide we had at Delphi was exactly what we needed to learn about and experience the site. Highly recommend!
Memorable day trip: history, great conversation, beautiful food and wine!

Went with Mr. Lazarus in spring ‘22. Wonderful trip and would go again in a heartbeat. Excellent driver, charming and knowledgeable. Paced our trip perfectly for us. Great recommendation for lunch which we still recall fondly.
