Palacio Nacional e Jardins de Queluz
The National Palace of Queluz enchants with its grandeur and the exuberance of its architectural details. Closely linked to the experiences of three generations of the Portuguese Royal Family, and the scene of intense emotions, the palace reflects the evolution of tastes and styles of the time, including baroque, rococo and neoclassicism. admission/entry fee: 13€
Castelo dos Mouros
Isolated high up, on one of the peaks of the Sintra mountain range, the Castelo dos Mouros is a fortification founded in the 10th century, a time of Muslim occupation of the Iberian Peninsula. Its famous walls snake through the mountains with their granite blocks between rocks and cliffs. Its roundabout path allows you to glimpse a unique landscape over the town, Pena and, further away, the contrast between the green of the mountains and the blue of the Atlantic. admission/entry fee: 12€

5.00We had initially planned on renting a car to drive from Lisbon to Sintra and Cabo Do Roca ourselves, and we're so glad we found Paulo and did a private trip instead! He was a fantastic guide and made the whole journey very smooth. We had a few specific places we wanted to go, and he helped us plan and decide how to spend our time and suggested a few places to visit that were lovely. It was very easy to communicate by Whatsapp and reconvene, so we could spend as much time as we wanted at each destination. We had a great time and highly recommend reaching out to him if you're interested in exploring west of Lisbon!

5.00This was a great tour! Paulo provided a day filled with wonderful experiences exploring the Sintra area. We visited historic sites, amazing vistas of the Atlantic and enjoyed a delicious lunch. Highly recommend!

5.00We had the pleasure of taking a full day tour of Sintra with Paulo. He shared his knowledge of the area as we explored town centers, beautiful ocean vistas, and castles. He made sure we had the time needed to explore the sites that we were most interested in. His suggestion for lunch was delicious. A wonderful tour guide that we would highly recommend!!

5.00Fantastic day with Paulo - we saw historical sights in Sintra and surrounding area as well as amazing beaches and viewpoints along the magnificent coastline, finishing in Cascais. What’s an ocean! What views! Also had a great lunch at a local restaurant. Paulo certainly knows where to go!

5.00We are so grateful to Paulo for serving up a seamless tour of Sintra & Cascais. We fit in 3 palace tours ; National Palace of Queluz, national Palace of Pena, and the Quinta da Regaleira ! We were able to time these perfectly thanks to Paulos knowledge of the time each takes, we were even able to fit in a cappuccino and pastel de nata and “pillows” in downtown Sintra. We did a short hike up to an old monastery for an incredible view of the coast and Lisbon, Followed by an unforgettable sunset at the western most point of mainland Europe. Ended the night in Cascais for a delectable traditional Portuguese dinner and tasty bottle of vino verde. Paulo delivered us back to the hotel safe and sound and memories we will have forever. It was the most perfect day my Fiancée and I could have asked for on my first trip to Portugal 🇵🇹
