Your friendly tour guide will meet you in your Suzhou Hotel lobby or Suzhou Railway Station. Then you will be transferred to the Lingering Garden. It was built in Ming Dynasty with over 430 years history. Explore the Suzhou style Garden, where you will enjoy the beautiful sightseeing of Chinese classic garden and architecture. Your guide will share with you the related culture and history.

Then, stroll along Pingjiang Road. Savor a delightful Suzhou style lunch here (at your own expenses). The most well known ones are called Cherry meat, Beggar Chicken and Liquor Xiaoyuanzi. Sunflower, who arranged my tours in Beijing, also arranged 2 days of tours for me in Suzhou. Aileen was my guide- and she was delightful! Very friendly, knowledgeable, flexible- easy to pivot when we needed to rearrange the itinerary on day 2 so my husband could join for part of it. Given the numbers of tourists and how crowded sites can be, we were able to time when to go to some sites to minimize crowds, and pick gardens that were just as beautiful but had fewer tourists. Highly recommend the Tongli tour as well. Stunning. Thank you Aileen and Sunflower tours!
