  My wife and I did a 5 day tour with Eoin, from Ashford through Kenmare, Killarney, and Dingle, to Dublin. His knowledge of the country and its history was fantastic. He was super pleasant and funny, and made our trip complete. He knew the best places and sites to go in all of the towns we went to and made sure we hit the best spots. When I come back to Ireland I will make sure to only come when Eoin is available. Five star service on all levels.

  Add this to your Ireland trip! Incredible experience all around. Eoin was wonderful to communicate with to set up the tour. Sharon was an absolute delight, taking my family all around the island. Friendly, fun and professional. Highly recommend.

  Our family spent a fantastic day with Sharon touring the Castlebar region. We were on an ancestry hunt and Sharon went above and beyond helping us find links to our past. She was an absolute delight - funny, charming and very knowledgeable about all things Ireland. We learned things from her that we’d never have gotten on a standard tour. Both Sharon and the company come with our highest recommendation. Thank you for a perfect day!

  My family and I booked two days of private touring with Galway Chauffeurs and we were quickly contacted by Eoin who offered us an itinerary that fit our needs for the two days. From the beginning of our conversation, we knew we would be in GREAT hands! From start to finish, everything was easy, professional, and truly perfect. Our driver for the two days was Sharon, who is extremely knowledgeable about everything that the tour involved! She is so friendly, social, and funny and made our two days *outstanding*!! Our itinerary involved the blarney castle/stone on one day, and the cliffs of Moher on the second day (with so many amazing cool stops along the way…stops that we would have never been able to plan or even know about ourselves)!   We couldn't have had a better tour in Galway. Our driver/guide, Joan, filled our heads and hearts with glorious tales and facts as we explored the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren.   Our driver, Eoin, took us on a day trip tour from Galway City to the Cliffs of Moher with many stops along the way. He was very knowledgeable about the journey, Irish culture, and Ireland history. He listened to what we wanted to see and recommended stops along the way, including a sheepdog demonstration and the Dunguaire Castle. Eoin was a delight to talk to and very professional.   Eoin (pronounced Owen for those of us who may not know!) was an absolutely incredible - beyond incredible - guide for me, my two children (11 and 9), and my mom. He met us right away with such enthusiasm. He had suggested the sheep dog farm in addition to the Cliffs (which was my original request), and wow, what a recommendation! We all absolutely loved the demonstration! The dogs were adorable and it was just fascinating to see them in action, on this farm! We were all also entirely captivated by Eoin’s knowledge about the history of Ireland. We asked him so many questions - about the Vikings, the more recent history of the division of Ireland, the Brits, etc. He was so knowledgeable, and we were all absolutely fascinated. I just cannot imagine a better guide for touring Ireland. And although we only needed a day trip, he takes people all over Ireland for days! I cannot rave enough and would recommend him as a first choice for anyone! When I told my daughter (11), that I would be leaving this review, she said, “be sure to mention that he is great with kids.” :)) PS - I should add that, leaving the Cliffs and headed back, I thought I had forgotten my wallet at the sheep farm. Eoin graciously pulled over to the side, offered to call them, and then we found it in the car. PHEW! He was so kind and thoughtful in my moment of panic!

  As a first time traveler to the beautiful country of Ireland, our tour guide Eoin made this day the most enriching and memorable part of the trip for me. He was incredibly informed, and could answer any question, identify any monument we passed, and tell us all about the history of the region with so much enthusiasm and genuine passion for his job. His vibrant personality and natural friendly demeanor put everyone at ease. The tour felt very intimate, allowing us to get a glimpse into the life of an Irish Shepard owning a farm in the gorgeous Connemara mountains, as well as visiting medieval castles, Abbeys, and trying the local pub fare. It was truly such an amazing day thanks to Eoin and Galway Chaffeurs.

  Booking with these folks was one of the best things my mom and I did for our Ireland trip! They were absolutely terrific at every turn (pun intended). We had three different day trips with them, and experienced three different drivers Eoin, Peader and Sharon and each one was truly great. They had so much info and insight on the areas we were stopping at as well as driving through. They were a delight to chat with, the van was incredibly comfortable. I would hands down book again with them on my next visit and recommend them to everyone traveling in Ireland. We experienced a different company/driver on our last day trip in Ireland and they missed turns and had to reroute a few times and were just generally not as prepared as Galway Chauffeurs. Their driving was absolute class, we felt so well taken care of and took all the pressure off of us so we could truly enjoy the site seeing.
