Nizwa Fort Oman
We depart Muscat to Nizwa, the old capital of Oman. Visit to the famous Nizwa Fortress. Today, the for is a museum that showcases the history of the fort and surrounding area. Walking through the fortress you get to see amazing views of the ancient town and the nearby mountains. 5.00We have just finished our tour with Sunshine Tours, and we honestly cannot speak highly enough of the company. The communication was excellent from the start, and since this was a last-minute booking, we were pleasantly surprised by the incredibly fast reaction of Maymona — truly impressive service. It was a very long day, but absolutely worth it for all the spectacular views and memorable visits. Nizwa was a real highlight, made even nicer by the fact that Hamood seems to know everyone there. It adds such a special touch to the experience. Ask it and he knows it (or knows someone who knows haha). Hamood knows all the best photo stops, and since my husband needs plenty of time for photography, we never felt rushed — yet you can feel how Hamood is always aware of timing and quietly making sure everything flows perfectly so we have the best possible day. Also making sure we did not arrive at the stops at peak hours. We are honestly sad that the tour is over, because every moment with Hamood and Sunshine Tours has been wonderful. We highly, highly recommend them to everyone.

5.00My guide Muneer was fantastic - very knowledgeable about Nizwa fort and Jebel Shams and took the time to explain the history. He also kept great company as I was on a solo trip. Would highly recommend!

5.00I had a great tour with Hamood and Sunshine Tours! They customized a tour for me to Jebel Shams. Hamood was extremely friendly and personable and considerate. He has a real enthusiasm for sharing his country with others. Hamood/Sunshjne yours was also very timely and punctual. I highly recommend them!

However, let me take this opportunity to thank SUNSHINE TOURS for catering best tourist destinations here in Oman. SUNSHINE TOURS caters best tourist spots to visit and explore here in Oman. They have wide variety of tour packages for tourists and non tourists that you can choose depending on your preferences and most especially for adventure seekers. Travelling to Jebel Shams is the best experience i have ever been in my entire life. The Jebel Shams is known for highest mountain and its also called as GRAND CANYON of OMAN. It has a BALCONY WALK popular for having stunning and breath taking view that consist of 7km roundtip hike trail starting from Al Khitaym village leading to abandoned village of As Sab and a breathtaking views of Wadi en Nakhr gorge. When you go for this hike, be prepare for the narrow trail. You should be wearing proper shoes, sun protection. & water to be hydrated. To Mr Mohammed our humble and friendly tourist guide who never fail to pamper us and gives a better service to us as well as his company rhoda and karen, thank you. 5.00I highly recommend Sunshine Tour Oman! I want to specifically thank my guide, Said Al kiyumi who went above and beyond to make my full day tour in Oman special. He told me all about Oman’s history and the historical places we visited like Nizwa Fort, 3 Village Walk, Birat Al Mouz Old Village, and Irrigation System of Al Kattmyn. He was also knowledgeable and funny and took amazing photos. He also got me a delicious fresh juice by Nizwa Fort and cold water when I was a bit overheated from walking around in the sun. This is one of the best tours I have done and it is a must when visiting Oman. 10/10! Thank you, Said and Sunshine Tour Oman!

5.00I took day tour from Muscat to Nizwa and Jabel Shams. The tour is well coordinated and managed by the tour guide. Everything is smooth including pick up confirmation message day before, his explanation during Nizwa fort/soup visit and lunch. I recommend to use the tour if you don’t have enough time in Oman but want to visit major sightseeing place within limited time.
