Nizwa Fort Oman
We depart Muscat to Nizwa, the old capital of Oman. Visit to the famous Nizwa Fortress. Today, the for is a museum that showcases the history of the fort and surrounding area. Walking through the fortress you get to see amazing views of the ancient town and the nearby mountains. This impressive fortress was a base used in the military to hold off the hardest attacks and seiges.

5.00Our tour guide, muneer, was wonderful. He consistently exceeded expectations and was the best tour guide I’ve ever experienced. His motto was to make sure his guests were happy and well taken care of and did whatever he could to accommodate us. He happily offered to take photos of our family, offered to drive us to dinner, and even bought us a tea. Incredible service and a gem of a tour guide. I highly recommend. Muneer is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Oman and gave a detailed tour with information at each stop which really helped us underhand the history and culture. Lovely experience thanks to muneers excellent hospitality. Above and beyond service.

5.00We had a wonderful day touring Oman with Muneer. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely hospitable throughout the entire experience. He took us to a date farm, the Fort of Nizwa, and the Grand Canyon of Oman, providing clear explanations and local insight that made each stop truly memorable. He paced the tour perfectly, made sure we were comfortable at all times, and was always happy to answer questions. Muneer’s warmth and hospitality really stood out - he made us feel welcomed and well taken care of from start to finish. I highly recommend him to anyone visiting Oman.

5.00Said Al Amari was an amazing guide with lots of knowledge to share about the traditions of Omani people from the historic village that we visited . He was extremely patient and polite. Said Al Amari provided us with some great recommendations for dinner and visiting other sites during our stay, highly recommend!

5.00This was the best tour experience I’ve ever had. Mohammed Aljabri was the absolute best tour guide. He was prompt and let the front desk staff know when he was here so we could meet him in the lobby. He was considerate, had ample knowledge of the cultural spots, and even helped us take lots of pictures. He showed us the best spots for coffee and pictures even took us to a local restaurant for dinner and ordered for us. The tour was supposed to be 9 hours and he went above and beyond and gave us all the time we needed so it was more like 13 hours. He provided water for us and made sure we were very well taken care of. I would completely recommend this tour and this guide to anyone wanting to visit Oman.

5.00If I could give 100 stars for this tour I would. Our guide for the day was Mohammed Aljabri and he was absolutely spectacular. He went out of his way to show us even more than what was on the itinerary, took some amazing photos of me and my friend, and was so incredibly kind and patient. His English speaking was great and we had no communication issues. He took extremely good care of my friend and I on this beautiful private tour and I could not have asked for a better experience. Every part of the day was beyond enjoyable and we would 100% recommend him to anyone who wants to see the gems of Oman.

5.00We have just finished our tour with Sunshine Tours, and we honestly cannot speak highly enough of the company. The communication was excellent from the start, and since this was a last-minute booking, we were pleasantly surprised by the incredibly fast reaction of Maymona — truly impressive service. It was a very long day, but absolutely worth it for all the spectacular views and memorable visits. Nizwa was a real highlight, made even nicer by the fact that Hamood seems to know everyone there. It adds such a special touch to the experience. Ask it and he knows it (or knows someone who knows haha). Hamood knows all the best photo stops, and since my husband needs plenty of time for photography, we never felt rushed — yet you can feel how Hamood is always aware of timing and quietly making sure everything flows perfectly so we have the best possible day. Also making sure we did not arrive at the stops at peak hours. We are honestly sad that the tour is over, because every moment with Hamood and Sunshine Tours has been wonderful. We highly, highly recommend them to everyone.

5.00I had a great tour with Hamood and Sunshine Tours! They customized a tour for me to Jebel Shams. Hamood was extremely friendly and personable and considerate. He has a real enthusiasm for sharing his country with others. Hamood/Sunshjne yours was also very timely and punctual. I highly recommend them!

However, let me take this opportunity to thank SUNSHINE TOURS for catering best tourist destinations here in Oman. SUNSHINE TOURS caters best tourist spots to visit and explore here in Oman. They have wide variety of tour packages for tourists and non tourists that you can choose depending on your preferences and most especially for adventure seekers. Travelling to Jebel Shams is the best experience i have ever been in my entire life. The Jebel Shams is known for highest mountain and its also called as GRAND CANYON of OMAN. It has a BALCONY WALK popular for having stunning and breath taking view that consist of 7km roundtip hike trail starting from Al Khitaym village leading to abandoned village of As Sab and a breathtaking views of Wadi en Nakhr gorge. When you go for this hike, be prepare for the narrow trail. You should be wearing proper shoes, sun protection. & water to be hydrated. To Mr Mohammed our humble and friendly tourist guide who never fail to pamper us and gives a better service to us as well as his company rhoda and karen, thank you.
