The small town of Las Palmas is a quaint farming town, we make a brief stop to see a typical rural town in Mexico. Our guests will have a chance to take some pictures and to use toilets if they need.
After a lovely drive along the scenic road 544, we make our second stop at " Puente el Progreso" to admire the beauty of the Sierra Madre Mountains. A visit to Carmen's bakery is a must; here you will enjoy fresh baked empanadas and traditional cafe de olla. Upon arriving to San Sebastian del Oeste, we are going to visit the Sanchez family. They have kept a Quinta built by their ancestors back in the early 1800s, where they have been growing coffee since back then. Rafael Sanchez will share with us, how he grows and process coffee. A walk through the plantation is worthwhile, as we can see other fruits grown in the area. There will be time to buy coffee and other products from San Sebastian if you desire. Toilets are available at this stop.

5.00Our private tour with Servando was safe, fun, and truly authentic. His knowledge wasn’t limited to San Sebastián — he shared insight about the entire region throughout the journey. From the bakery to the distillery, where he personally knew the owner and workers, to the coffee plantation and finally San Sebastián, every stop was enriched by his stories and context. We ended with chocolate, the sweetest finish to an incredible day. We felt completely safe and comfortable the whole time — a personalized experience that was well worth the price

5.00We had a wonderful, full-day tour with Cervando. Things started off a little difficult because the air conditioning in the van was not working properly; however, we were able to deal with it. Cervando picked us up right on time and we headed off to San Sebastian del Oeste. Throughout the drive there, Cervando shared information about the history of the region and the harvesting of agave to produce a local form of tequila called raicilla. We passed beautiful landscapes and stopped enroute at a lovely panaderia. The guava empanada was my favorite. When we reached San Sebastain, we walked all over town and Cervando seemed to know everyone and everyplace! We had a lovely lunch in a local restaurant and did some shopping. On the way out of town, we stopped for coffee and chocolate - again at a place Cervando knew well. Then, we did a raicilla tasting at a family-run distillery. All in all, a wonderful day - with particular thanks to Cervando, who was knowledgeable, articulate, well-prepared and fun to spend time with!!

5.00This was a great all day (8 hours) experience from Puerto Vallarta to San Sebastián de Oeste. Cervando is a native Vallartense so really knows the history of not only PV but also San Sebastián. We saw some beautiful countryside, visited a coffee maker, a tequila/raicilla producer and had a great lunch. All in all, a lovely day.

5.00Cervando the guide and Victor the driver were fantastic. The tour seemed almost to be created for us on the spot. Cervando was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. It was obvious that he cares passionately about the area and its inhabitants. We did so many fun things—having a goat milk and alcohol drink (that one of us milked the goat for) for breakfast, visiting a tequila distillery for a tasting, stopping by a field to learn about—AND PARTICIPATE IN—agave harvesting, learning about the history of this Pueblo Magico, shopping at a silversmith, visiting a local coffee grower and chocolatier, and having a delicious lunch at a farm-to-table restaurant. I very highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to get truly off the beaten path.

5.00My husband and I had taken a wonderful 2 day tour of Guadalajara, Tequila and Tlaquepaque with Cervando and booked another tour to San Sebastián del Oeste with him. It was truly a perfect day! San Sebastián is a beautiful town and Cervando knew all the best places to show it off to its full advantage while adding special experiences catered to our interests. He always recommends terrific places to eat based on your preferences. He’s a delightful person, a very safe driver and a knowledgeable and engaging guide.
