This full-day private photography tour will take you to the iconic locations you see in brochures as well as those special spots only a local would know, to explore and capture the beauty and splendor for yourself.
This tour is designed for photography enthusiasts and your guide is a passionate landscape photographer, with years of local knowledge. Enjoy 8-9 hours of visiting some of the most interesting and beautiful destinations close to Queenstown and around the Southern Lakes.
The weather in this amazing region is constantly changing bringing many moods that to the mountains, lakes, rivers and forests. Whatever the conditions we always know where to take you to and how to capture unique scenes of outstanding natural beauty.

East - Arrowtown, Crown Range, Gibbston Valley and Cromwell - heritage, vineyards, expansive views, rugged Kawarau Gorge, gold mining. North - Coronet Peak and Skippers Canyon, gold mining heritage, expansive views, alpine tussock landscapes and craggy, rugged, vertiginous Skippers Canyon road. 5.00We had a great day with Martin touring the Queenstown area allowing my wife and I to take (as the name of the company suggests) simply remarkable photographs. My wife is a photographer and Martin took us to places we probably would not have found on our own and helped with ideas to take the best pictures possible. I highly recommend that anyone visiting Queenstown and looking for a guided photography tour book a day with Martin.

5.00Martin was our guide and was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Our entire group had a fantastic time as Martin showed us wonder after wonder traveling through the deserts, forests, and lakes of NZ. Martin shared with us so many hidden gems and great vantage points, he also helped dial in my camera settings for the day and offered helpful tips along the way. Martin also supplied us with hot coffee and muffins overlooking queenstown, and took us to a wonderful cafe for lunch. Highly recommend if you’re interested in spending the day shooting with a friendly expert and learning about the region.

5.00Had an amazing day with Martin. His knowledge of the local areas and his advice on photography was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for Martin, stopping when photo opportunities presented themselves. I have come away with some beautiful photos from around Queenstown and increased knowledge in landscape photography. Thank you for a wonderful day Martin, I hope to be back to join you on another fabulous workshop/day.

5.00We went to two different locations. First we went to the Remarkables and did some very good shots of the area from high up and some artsy shots of a winding street. After that we took Skippers Road and wow, what a great landscape. It was even better than the first location. Martin was great and took the time to show me how to take the best pictures. I can highly this tour. Time was over way too soon.

5.00The day was well spent with Martin showing us a number of locations around Queenstown that were would definitely not have found on our own. He was very knowledgeable about the area and can accomodate photographers at any level. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone considering doing it.

5.00This is a great option for someone looking to get a "local's perspective" of Queenstown and take a trip to lesser-known spots. I was (am) new to photography (I bought my first camera specifically for this trip) and Martin was a patient teacher. He was great at adapting his approach to my level of skill. During the day, not only did I learn and practice different techniques to compose photographs and learn some of the features of my camera, but I got to visit many "off the beaten path" spots to photograph! This trip left me feeling like I had really gotten to know Queenstown and the surrounding areas. Martin was very flexible, friendly and helpful. I couldn't recommend this trip more to someone looking to get to know Queenstown and capture some great pictures!
