Join for a full-day sailing adventure from Zadar to the beautiful island of Ugljan, guided by the friendly local skipper, a seasoned professional who knows these waters like the back of his hand.

You will sail across the scenic Zadar Channel and drop anchor in a secluded bay on Ugljan, where you’ll have time to swim, snorkel, or simply relax in untouched nature. After that, we visit a charming island village, where you can enjoy free time for lunch, a walk, or a coffee by the sea.

On the way back, enjoy the peaceful glide of the sailboat and, if you’re interested, learn the basics of sailing from your skipper.

This trip is a perfect blend of local culture, crystal-clear sea, and authentic sailing – a day of pure Adriatic pleasure.

The trip begins at the Borik marina, just outside Zadar’s old town. As we cruise along the coast, we pass the red-and-white Puntamika Lighthouse, a scenic landmark at the tip of the peninsula. From there, we continue through the Zadar Channel toward the island of Ugljan, with the majestic mountains of the mainland rising in the background—a perfect blend of sea, islands, and dramatic coastal views.

If you're looking for an exciting/action-packed boat trip, this will probably not be your cup of tea, but if you're looking to relax and enjoy a nice sail as well as a wonderful seafood lunch on a quiet island, then this will be perfect for you! It was a leisurely trip and we had the pleasure of getting to know a lot about sailing as well as being able to ask our Skipper questions about the area we were visiting and the culture in Croatia. He was an excellent host and very informative and the boat was in pristine shape. We went to some nice quiet spots away from the tourist spots and places you would not normally see. He had some great suggestions for us for our next day before we left as well.

Really good value for money, a super boat with a very experienced skipper who speaks excellent English. Highly recommend this activity. Would possibly suggest taking lunch with you as the island restaurant is great quality but many options are very pricey as food all comes in from the mainkand

The trip was great! Petar is an excellent skipper and guide. The locations he took us to are beautiful. Crystal clear sea, perfect for swimming! Excellent restaurant... everything was just perfect! Definitely recommend!

Just concluded a 3-day charter in the Kornati Islands to close the sailing season on a high note. Three days of pure relaxation, Petar is a skipper very attentive to the needs of guests, professional and also charismatic, being on the boat with him means being quiet in any weather condition, makes you experience the sea and the boat in total. The boat very welcoming and equipped with every comfort. Thanks Petar, see you next year

The trip with Petar was great!! Petar is a chill guy that knows a lot about the area and sea life in general. The boat is beautiful and there is enough space to lay in the sun. I felt really comfortable as a female solo traveler so definitely recommend booking this trip!

We left from Marina Zadar and spent a wonderful day sailing with family and friends. The boat is gorgeous and Petar is a wonderfully perfect skipper, discreet and very very professional. With my children he was very helpful. I highly recommend it. "Ad maiora" Petar

If you will be visiting Zadar, I can not recommend a day on the water with Zara sailing enough. I brought my wife, 10 yr old niece, 4 yr old daughter and 2 yr old son and everyone had an amazing day. Captain Petar was fantastic. He was very professional and great with the kids. He was very accommodating with request for things such as sheets for a bed while our toddlers napped. If you are in Zadar this should be a must do experience on your list

So we booked this sailing experience as a last minute plan, we met our skipper on the marina, we was shocked at the fantastic interior of this beautiful sailboat, then we set sail, our skipper petar, was undoubtedly the best tour guide, with a fountain of knowledge on the whole of Croatia, from it's picturesque coast lines, to its interesting history, we visited a village named preko ( translates to across) had the best seafood thanks to petars suggestions, and as a sailor, he's the man to listen to, his life and experience is unsurpassed, i've learned alot on this trip and our skipper became a good friend. This trip for me is beyond an excursion, it's a sailing tour with a great audio guide from the amazing petar. I WILL DO THIS AGAIN !

We had the great pleasure of spending a whole day with Petar on his sailboat – and it was just fantastic! Petar is a warm and professional host who immediately made us feel welcome and in good hands. With his vast experience and knowledge of the sea and the region, he accompanied us not only safely, but also with many exciting stories throughout the day. The tour was varied, relaxed and at the same time full of beautiful moments – just the right amount of sailing, bathing, wonder and enjoyment. You can feel how passionate Petar is about sailing and his guests, which makes the whole experience even more unique. It was definitely one of the absolute highlights of our holiday, and we can heartily recommend this sailboat tour!
