  Really enjoyable, full day travelling around the island, with frequent stops, saw very picturesque places, and they took us to eat at a traditional local restaurant, nothing fancy, but clean and good food. Africa as a unique magic and this trip is an example of it

  Super Tour 👍🏻👍🏻 We booked the tour with Elvin on 15.12.2025 because he: - was not intrusive - explained everything to us in German - named a very good price - he made us think Elvin is a very quiet and nice tour operator who advertised his tour on the way to the beach. In keeping with the spirit of the island: Cabo Verde - No Stress. To the tour: Our driver Louis, picked us up on time outside the hotel. In the pickup truck we went to another hotel in the immediate vicinity. I was The tour went as described to the lemon sharks. Since the tour cost an additional 3.00 €, it was up to everyone to to go into the water with the animals. The required bathing shoes were brought along yourself, or could be rented on site. Attention: The way to the sharks is more dangerous than the animals themselves. So don't go in barefoot or with flip flops. We continued to the salt lake. Through a small tunnel you reached the lake and had the opportunity to bathe. The lake has a higher salinity than the dead sea. Those who did not want to bathe could go up the mountain outside and visit the lake with the salt pans from above. The entrance fee for bathing was 6.00 €. On the way we visited a small church and the mirage, then we arrived at the Blue Eye in time. The area and the surf were very impressive. Unfortunately, the weather put a line in our faces. Because to get the effect for the Black Eye, you needed sunlight. We had clouds. On the slopes we went to Palmeira. A beautiful little fishing village with many murals and colorful houses. Here was the opportunity to have lunch. We preferred to wander the streets and drink a beer at the port and watch the hustle and bustle there. There is not much to report about Espargos as we only drove through. At first glance, this city is nothing special now. The Kite Beach was absolutely worth seeing with its many kite surfers. On the way back we drove through the salt pans near Santa Maria. A very impressive area. Unfortunately, the nearly 8 hours were over far too quickly. Our driver Louis drove very level-headed and explained everything to us very well in German and in French. At TUI, the tour including lunch and without the shark tour would have cost about 120,00 € per person. The entrance to the salt lake probably was there as well. However, we would have been 20 people. For the sharks Tui would have asked for another €30.00 p.p. At Elvin we got the whole tour for 40,00 € p.P. Sure. Without lunch and without the admissions. Lunch approx. 20,00 € per person Admissions together: 12,00 € per person We met him every day on the way to the beach and a very good relationship developed with him. With the sharks I wanted to buy another small figure, but I couldn't do it anymore. Then two days later I asked Elvin if he could get me a figure like that. That wasn't a problem. He brought me the figure a few days later. No extra charge. I'm not getting any money for this report. It's real and not bought. I can recommend the tour with Elvin in good conscience. So do something for the locals, too, and don't throw the money down the throat of a big corporation like TUI.

  Good value for money and lovely guides. Had an activity pact day. Highly recommended. Nothing was too much. Great trip to get a feel of the whole island.

  A really value for money trip. The guide answered all questions, the transport was comfortable and we saw so much. The blue hole, a mirage, turtle beach, shark bay where the water was so warm and sharks were swimming around our legs.   The sights visited are amazing naturally, fortunately because the description of the day does not correspond at all to what we did. I was confirmed by WhatsApp that I was in a pickup truck when we were picked up in a minibus. Luckily the guide was very nice and found us a pickup. No visit to Santa Maria, no visit to the market, school and let's not talk about the French guide who was with us only 5 minutes in the day to translate otherwise you have to speak English. Fortunately the second guide translated a few words into French but we missed a lot of explanations on the island. Really a shame because otherwise the day would have been exceptional.

  excursion in French of 7 h with meals , bus of about 20 people, complete tour of the island; salinas , espargos , blue eye ..... OK!

  Elvin Tours is certainly the best choice for any activity/excursion on the island of Sal. The tour was taught by one of your guides named Yanick, an excellent guide and a great person. It was also accompanied by a photographer who offered you without any obligation if you wanted the photos that had been taken all day giving you the possibility to see them quietly to finally decide if you wanted them as a memory or not (I for the price and the quality and incredible photos he made us did not hesitate to accept this extra) Very grateful to all of them for the excellent day we spent!

  We are brightly enthusiastic, seen so much of the island in one day and experienced a lot. At no stop was the clock looked at, simply top. And the guide was just great.

  We were on the island of Sal from 1.7 to 15.7.25 and, by recommendation, did the island tour with Elvin. We were a group of 8 people and it was an experience we would gladly recommend. We were picked up at 9h in front of our hotel in the morning and brought back there around 4h. The nice thing was that Elvin speaks German very well and could explain everything to us. Our tour operator also offered the tour (at a cost of 120€ per person), but a highlight of the tour was not included: Shark Bay...that should have been booked separately. Elvin Tours included this excursion point. And we only paid a third of what the tour operator wanted. It was also charming that we were allowed to attend a private birthday party. The islanders are very welcoming and it was just fun. The journey to the HotSpots was very adventurous in places, but the trails have to go everyone, including the tour operators. Our tip: take something to drink and eat. Otherwise, there is nothing against booking with Elvin. We got to know all the hotspots on the island: Port of Santa Maria, Blue Eye, SharkBay, Salt Lake, Fatamorgana... And Elvin is really a cool guy, we enjoyed the tour a lot.   2nd booking with Elvin Tour, recommended for seriousness and professionalism. Visiting the beach with turtles was an exceptional and unforgettable experience. Our group had the chance to see them laying eggs, we were able to follow the steps from beginning to end: from laying eggs to returning to the sea. The instructions given are very clear and really respectful of the animals and their welfare: do not disturb them whether by too much proximity, light or noise. Please be serious when booking, these living beings offer us a wonderful and unique moment, some tourists unfortunately forget it.
