This all-day excursion takes you for a breathtaking drive along the Amalfi Coast to the picturesque hillside town of Positano (with 1 hour free time to explore on your own), then to serene Sorrento (where you'll have 1 hour free time to explore on your own), and before going back to Naples' port to the evocative ruins of Pompeii for a two-hour guided tour before returning to your ship.

First stop on this trip will be Positano (with 1 hour free time to explore on your own). Positano, the most picturesque town of the Amalfi Coast resembles a waterfall cascading down to the sea. Second stop on the tour will be Sorrento (with 1 hour free time to explore on your own). Removed to the south of the upbeat urban tempos of Naples extends the Peninsula of Sorrento. This is a land where the scent of citrus fills the air and where grape vines follow the steep terrain to the edge of the sea. Breathtaking views of Mount Vesuvius and the island of Capri await you behind every bend in the road that leads you along this spectacular coast.

5.00We had a great day, and got to see every key point that we had on our list. Each stop was short but to fit everything that's how it had to be. Our guide and driver were the absolute best!! They made our excursion so much fun with lots of laughs and music. Would highly recommend this excursion if you want to see the Almafi Coast, Sorrento and Pompei all in one day. The guide and driver made sure you were back on the ship on time as well.
Highly recommended day tour when in Naples.

From the moment our driver Genaro picked us up in Naples (on time, in a comfy, air-conditioned van), everything felt seamless. Behind the wheel, Genaro was a total pro — navigating those cliff-hugging roads with calm confidence while pointing out hidden gems along the way. Highlights that made it unforgettable: • Sorrento – Just enough time to stroll the lemon-scented streets, sip fresh limoncello, and grab a quick espresso. The views over the Bay of Naples? Chef’s kiss. • Amalfi Coast Drive – Jaw-dropping. Pastel villages, dramatic cliffs, and sparkling turquoise water. Genaro pulled over at the best lookout spots so we could snap photos without rushing. • Pompeii – Our guide Vincenzo was a walking encyclopedia (and hilarious).
