If you want to enjoy the beauty of the Icelandic landscapes full of waterfalls and volcanoes, black sand and basalt columns, without having to go on long hikes, the tour of the South Coast to Vík is right for you.
In just one day we will take you to the town of Vík (capital of the Southern region), stopping along the way in front of waterfalls such as Seljalandsfoss, Gljúfrabúi, Skogafoss and Kvernufoss. Before returning to Reykjavík, we will also stop at Reynisfjara beach with its basalt columns and the view of the Dyrholaey, a natural rock arch.

Seljalandsfoss waterfall
On the slopes of Ejyafjallajökull, the unpronounceable volcano that blocked flights to half of Europe during the 2010 eruption, we will see Seljalandsfoss waterfall. This is precisely our first stop where, depending on the season, it will or will not be possible to walk behind the waterfall. The time frame includes transportation.
Gljufrabui Waterfalls
After a 5 minutes walk from Seljalandsfoss, we will enter the small canyon that leads beneath Gljúfrabúi waterfall. To be enter the canyon we will have to walk up a small creek, and this might or might not be possible according to the season and the weather conditions.

5.00Simply fantastic experience! The tour operator proved to be immediately kind, professional and always available, ready to respond to every need with great attention. Thanks to them we could see incredible places, surreal landscapes that we will hardly forget. A key aspect for me was the fact that they are certified, especially considering that we traveled in winter, when safety and expertise really make a difference. 5.00It was the last intense three-day tour with Lorenzo! Like the days before the visits were enriched with anecdotes and explanations that completed wonderfully what we saw! The final gem was, during the return trip, to let us listen to Italian songs translated into Icelandic and transformed into Christmas songs 😂😂 ! This is Lorenzo, guide and special person! But everyone on Elysia tour is..in Iceland only with them!! THANK YOU!

5.00A truly wonderful experience! The tour was impeccably organized: Ilaria is extremely professional, but at the same time nice and engaging, able to put everyone at ease from the first minutes. During the visit there were curious anecdotes and funny moments, which made the discovery of the place even more pleasant and lively. At the same time, we learned a lot: clear explanations, historical and cultural details told with passion and expertise. 5.00Our trip to Iceland was made great by the guides of Elysia Tours! We relied completely on them for tours of our 4-day vacation. With llaria we travelled along the south coast to Vik. Along the way we saw spectacular waterfalls and admired the intense colors of nature, which is still wild here. The organization of the tours and all the services offered by Elysia Tours is excellent: high professionalism, timely information, careful care of each traveler, friendliness and sympathy.
