  Communication with tour operators was amazing!. Booked the tour with Jade Tours. Unfortunately 2 days before the tour Bruce with Jade had to unexpectedly leave town BUT he transferred our Viator booking to Cameron with Hop-n-Grape Tours. Transfer was smooth & both Bruce & Cameron were easy and great to work with. As to the actual Tour, full van of 10 great travellers! Amanda, our tour guide was fabulous & so full of information regarding Blenheim and all the vineyards. Wine was delicious at every stop. We had a very multi cultural group and we got along great. Amanda was very instrumental in us all getting along & making sure introductions were made & repeated each time we picked up members at their lodging. A very fun, delicious day!

  What a brilliant day touring various interesting vineyards, sampling many different wines,stunning scenery, and delicious lunch.John our guide was lovely, informative, good humoured and a wonderful guide.Thank you John 😊

  We had a lovely experience with Bruce, we were lucky enough to get him to ourselves for the whole day. He showed us many great wineries and his knowledge was great not only about the wines and vineyards but also about the local agriculture and biodiversity of the region which was very interesting. He also was kind enough to give us recommendations for dinner and drinks afterwards and dropped us off at that location. Would definitely recommend for a nice day in Blenheim!

  Good tour guide, we saw at other tours that the driver stayed in the car further, but Bruce knew quite a bit to tell us and showed us some of the trees between the groves.

  Thanks John for leading us and two other couples, through a wonderful day’s wine tasting on Thursday 16th October. Simple facts of being driven on a sunny day around 5 wineries for tasting and lunch and then a chocolate factory to finish us off, suggest a great day, which it was. What made it a really special day were the people we met. The other couples were great fun, the teams hosting the tastings, especially at Spy and Whitehaven, were up for a bit of banter. And all this was facilitated by John who gave us great insights into NZ, Marlborough and the wine industry; a really interesting guy whose only objective was to give us the best time - which he did - all whilst managing to keep us on time and in line.   Had a fantastic day on this tour! The tastings and lunch were excellent with beautiful scenery along the way. John made the whole experience so enjoyable with both his knowledge and chat, really appreciated the effort he put in.

  Bruces communication prior to pick up was excellent, once we had been picked up he was very informative and interaction was excellent We stopped at 5 cellar doors which were in close proximity to Blenheim so not too much driving around, lunch at Saint Clair was delicious What we particularly liked was that Bruce had a very good knowledge of the area and in particular the wine growing processes. He also chipped in with little nuggets of information that enhanced the actual tasting experiences.
