We start our tour in Flores Area and St. Helena pass your Hotel 15 minutes before the Departure Time and drive for 50 minutes and arrive at the Main Entrance of Tikal National Park.

We arrive at the main entrance of the National Park "Tikal" at this point the Park Rangers carry out the first control of Park Admission Tickets (they are not included the purchase of Park Admission Tickets you can do it in the Banking system a day before your visit or you can purchase them on Line hhttps ://boletos.culturaguate.com two are purchased one Park Admission Q.150.00 and one Dawn Q.100 total Q. 250.00 = USD 34.00 it is very important to have them with you ) then continue for 20 minutes and arrive at the Visitor Center.

5.00I had Louis and he showed us everything and was very knowledgeable I would do this again it’s the best. We saw everything we need to see and he was very accommodating Make sure you buy the right ticket for the park entrance and for the sun rise tour.

5.00We had a great tour with Luis! He was truly fabulous, ensuring that we saw wildlife and learned about the cast history. The pick up at our hostel was a bit unorganized but everything went smoothly once we were in the transport van.

4.00Really enjoyed our tour! Guide Luis was fantastic and provided great information while managing the cloudy weather for us and returning to some temples we had missed. Was very professional while dealing with challenging members of the tour group. Great drive. Only complaint would be to make the website to Temple for your tickets easier to find and confirm that a park and sunrise hike pass is required. But when I contacted the company they were very quick to reply. Would recommend!

Great way to experience Tikal

5.00The dreadfully early pickup from Flores paid off when we got to Tikal and were among the first groups to reach Temple IV, so we got good seats for sunrise. The weather didn’t deliver, but the howler monkeys sure did!! Incredible experience. We had 2 separate guides for English- and Spanish-speaking groups. Sam did a good job of giving us a few minutes of introduction at each part of the site and then letting us explore independently for 15-45 mins at each spot for climbing the structures, photos, bird watching, etc. This turned out to be much more of a jungle safari than I expected with all the parrots, monkeys, and coatis - a nice bonus! Breakfast was served at a small restaurant near the entrance just before heading back to Flores - good local breakfast served quickly (included in the tour price). We got back around 1230 pm. Overall a well organized and comprehensive tour - would definitely recommend seeing Tikal this way. Some tips: pack warm layers (you’ll be sitting on the temple for sunrise for around an hour), a headlamp/flashlight (you walk about 25 minutes through trails in the dark to reach Temple VI), plenty of water, and snacks - there was one little stand to buy coffee and sandwiches at the entrance, but no other snack kiosks were open inside the park. It’s a long time before breakfast and there’s A LOT of walking/stair climbing so you’ll get hungry fast. A separate van picked me up near my hotel in central Flores to meet the bus on Flores Island, but it wasn’t organized for the return - luckily when I mentioned this to the bus driver he took me back to my hotel after the drop off at Flores Island - just something to note if you’re not staying on/near the island.

Fascinating tour, disastrous guide

4.00The tour was great, we were lucky with the weather and it was really nice. Unfortunately, our guide was an absolute disaster - effervescent, snappy, moody, not accommodating and compared to other guides on site we got zero information about the sights.
Tikal is a must in Guatemala!

4.00Lloyd is a great guide! He helped me take amazing photos! Definitely make sure you buy the park ticket before hand, bring a headlamp and bug spray! Also, I absolutely LOVED it, but did wear me out from all the steps up the ruins! I would plan some down time afterwards.
For those who like to have an immersive experience.

5.00Impressive experience. Mario was an excellent guide. Knowledgeable and friendly. Very punctual transportation: showed up 5 minutes early to my hotel. I knew everything I expected from Tikal. I'd take the trip again.
