Enjoy a Speedboat trip from Blue Bay to Ile aux Cerfs and discover the 5 islands on the East Coast of Mauritius.
Sea lovers will enjoy this trip to the marine park. You will stop in the middle of the marine park and get to snorkel and discover the magical world of the reefs.
Then, visit the shipwreck of the Dalbair. Next, stop at Ile aux Aigrettes to enjoy a cocktail in a natural swimming pool.
Afterward, Cruise to Ile aux Phare to see the lighthouse or simply take a stroll around. Next, pass by Ile de la Passe where you will be able to view the ruins of old buildings, and the prison.
Then, visit the GRSE waterfall, where the sea and the river meet.
Then, go to Ilot Margenie for a delicious barbecue lunch, prepared and served right on the beach. You'll cruise to Ile aux Flammant to admire the great views.

Blue Bay Marine Park
You'll head to Blue-Bay Marine park for snorkeling. Sea lovers will enjoy this trip to the marine park. Sit in your boat and depart for the reefs while feeling the cool day breeze brushing against your skin. Take in the beauty of the surroundings while gazing at the underwater world while snorkeling. You will then stop in the middle of the marine park and get to snorkel and discover the magical world of the reefs. At an average depth of 5.5 meters, with crystal clear water offering great visibility, the snorkeling conditions are ideal. You will have a great view of the reef, fish, and a large selection of corals (there are more than 50 different species of corals at the park!). The Blue Bay Marine Park is home to mangroves, algae, sea grasses, corals, and other marine organisms. There is also a wide variety of fish species that include Damselfish, Surgeonfish, Butterfly fish, juvenile Sailfin tangs, as well as tiny Pipefish and large Trumpet fish.

5.00To our surprise Manav was our driver again, great start to the day. We started 30 minutes late to allow breakfast at the hotel, good local knowledge, nice touch! Nelson was a real relaxed Mauritius skipper. The drinks flowed, we had a fantastic day! 5 Islands, Lunch on the Beach, swimming, relaxing all great!
Lack on the trip and no snorkeling.

3.00Never got to snorkel (which was one of the reasons for choosing a trip) and the boat did not have equipment for this either. The guide just told me there was too much electricity to snorkel. Nor visited Ile Aux Flammant, Ile de la Passe or the Dalbair shipwreck Had expected more of the trip than we got out of it. However, the driver and guide/captain on the speedboat were very good.

5.00Just a fantastic day out. Both the driver who took us to/from the tour, and our tour guide Nelson were excellent. Fantastic scenery, lovely food and drink. Would give 6 stars if I could!

5.00Our first stop was the Dalbair shipwreck where he gave us the full history behind the wreck and answered our questions before we headed to shallow waters to do some snorkelling. Once back on board he gave us some drinks and snacks and we headed to Lighthouse island before stopping at a sea bass farm, where we were lucky enough to see some dolphins. He could see how much we loved this so he made sure he got us a front row seat to be able to take photos and videos. Afterwards we headed to Il Aux Cerf where we had free time do some water activities (you pay extra for this) before we headed to the other side of the island for lunch. The lunch was lovely and to a good standard with chicken and rice for starters and then fish and salad for mains followed by grilled banana. Only thing to be wary of is that it might not be great for kids, thankfully our hotel had prepared a picnic for us so my daughter could eat that. Following lunch we headed to the waterfall, which was stunning and you get quite close to it with no other boats in the way, before heading back to the beach where our driver was waiting to take us back to our hotel. The only thing I would say is that we didn’t stop at Blue bay for snorkelling and when I asked Ashleigh, he said it was too deep and he normally goes somewhere else which is more shallow, so we didn’t mind not going there as we’ve only ever been snorkelling once. We also only stopped to go snorkelling once, not 2-3 times like it says in the itinerary. Again, as we’ve not done this much before, we didn’t mind too much so didn’t question it. All in all, we had the most incredible day and would highly recommend.

5.00This excursion is an absolute gem for anyone seeking a perfect blend of exploration and relaxation in pristine waters. From start to finish, everything was impeccably organised. The morning transfer was punctual, and we even arrived at the boat ahead of schedule. The journey began with a close-up view of the GRSE Waterfall and a chance to feed some monkeys—a unique and memorable experience! The itinerary continued with a visit to the picturesque lighthouse island and snorkelling at the vibrant Blue-Bay Marine Park. The onboard lunch was a highlight, featuring a delightful array of options that catered to every palate. Later, we soaked in the serene, shallow waters near Ile aux Aigrettes before heading to the famous Ile aux Cerfs. Every moment felt carefully planned to maximize enjoyment. The crew deserves a special mention for their warm hospitality and excellent entertainment, including a lively musical performance that added to the overall experience. A heartfelt thanks goes to Mevin, our driver, whose insightful knowledge of local customs and traditions truly enriched the day.
