5.00Our day with Mido was incredible! He’s super responsive, flexible, and honest. Want to tweak your plans, arrange an airport drop-off, or even plan a full week or Nile cruise? Mido can do it all — and at a great price. We managed to see Saqqara, the Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Grand Egyptian Museum in one day — something most guides said wasn’t possible! Started at 8 a.m., hit all the highlights, stopped by a few local shops, and made it to the GEM by 2 p.m. Mido knows how to beat the crowds and focuses on giving you the best experience. His English is excellent, communication is easy, and the whole day was smooth and fun. Highly recommend Mido & Amon Ra Tours — you won’t be disappointed!

5.00We had Mido for our tour. Mido is extremely knowledgable, patient and accommodating. During our tour, we got a health issue that needed to be immediately taken care of. Mido took care of everything - including the medic team contact at the Pyramids and when it was not available, he drove us to the hospital - accompanying us the whole time with the translation and stuff. The whole tour was smooth and safe because of him. Highly recommend!!

5.00We had a very good day with our private guide Mido who was really a fantastic person. He masters his work perfectly and has deeply explained the history of the civilizations that followed one another in Egypt through the visit to the pyramids and the great museum of Egypt. I advise not to go without a guide because the circuit is not as easy as that and I recommend Mido as a professional guide mastering the circuits and possessing great communication qualities.

5.00This is an excellent tour! Mido is an excellent tour guide. He is knowledgeable, attentive and creates a very immersive experience. He provides tips to make sure your experience is safe and hassle free. The tour itself is packed with activities that make it well worth the money. I highly recommend this tour!! Heard some of the other tour guides while waiting to move. Mido is the best hands down.

5.00I can’t image having seen Egypt without Mido and his expertise! He quickly made it the trip of a lifetime! Egypt is mysterious, vast and spread out, you will not see anything nearly as good on your own without a local guide. It was clear that Mido had decades of experiences (as most of the other guides were real boring) he was the golden highlight to every temple, pyramid and destination, he was able to paint a story of the Pharaoh’s history with excitement, telling us of events that happened at the very places we stood. It was all the more thrilling to be engaged and entertained by him! He became and dear friend and quickly made Egypt the best trip I’ve ever taken that I won’t soon forget, only quickly miss. We started in Cairo at a hotel that faced the great pyramids of Giza complex that we saw and went into along with seeing the sphinx, we went to the step pyramid and 2 other pyramids out in the dessert! We then hopped in a plane and flew south to Aswan where we got on a river cruise, we hit the Nile and saw the temple of Isis, Kom Ombo, Edfu and the Temple of Horus all at different ports. We danced the night away at a galabeya party and ended the river cruise in Luxor where we enjoyed a hot air balloon ride, went to the temple of Hatshepsut, the Valley of the Kings and saw the largest temple complex, Karnak (my favorite) we were even able to see some special smaller temples off the grid that others didn’t get to visit! It was so fabulous that even recalling it all now I’m amazed at just how much we got to see thanks you Mido! After Karnak we flew back to Cairo, saw the Cave of Jesus, the famous Cairo museum with all the mummies of the Kings and Queens that built the temples we had just seen and then as if that wasn’t enough we drove up to the Mediterranean to see the port city of Alexandria, visiting the great library, cavernous Greek and Roman catacombs and the Citadel. It was the most incredible of trips that I would almost never have to do again, except that I’m planning on it!! Mido and his team have the ‘Mido Magic’ and made extraordinary things happen! It goes without saying that I would not recommend anyone else’s business to be your guide in the enchanting country of Egypt. They are trustworthy, honest and compassionate individuals who will have your back and give you the best run of the country there is!

5.00OMG! This was AMAZIIING!!! Starting with our tour guide, Kariman, and the drivers (Omar & Ahmed), they made sure we had a super fun time and that we were safe and hydrated! Words can’t describe how beautiful Egypt’s history is, especially when you have such a knowledgeable guide! Pictures don’t do justice to the beauty and wonderfulness of Ehyot and its people! ♥️♥️♥️

5.00Our guide in Cairo was Yomna who works with Mido. Our one-day trip to the city was exactly what my husband and I expected and planned in advance. Yomna met us with a driver at the airport in the early morning and showed us around till the late evening when we left the city. We visited the pyramids, Citadel, Cairo museum and Tower. Yomna is a local certified guide speaking fluent English. She is a very nice communicative person who knows everything about all the sights in Cairo and more. We also had fascinating discussions about many other things and that was very useful. It should also be noted that the driver who drove us for the whole day was absolutely incredible manoeuvring deftly in Cairo mad traffic. Thank you, guys, for this wonderful experience in Cairo! We hope to see you again one day!
