Chichen Itza is the most important capital of the Maya world. We will visit the Castle or the Pyramid of Kukulcán where many secrets will be revealed, in 2007 it became one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. We will also also explore, the largest Ball court area in Mesoamerica, and the astronomical Observatory, where the ancient Maya made astronomical calculations with unbelievable accuracy. A visit to the yellow city of Izamal, a great cenote for swimming and cool of and a great Mexican food buffet will make this tour amazing.

Magic city known as the City of the Three Cultures or also as "the yellow city", today it is the essence of the cultural legacy of the Yucatecan people. In this site there are Mayan temples and colonial houses that transport back to the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries, and its people proudly display the cultural syncretism of the Mayan people. driving from merida to Izamal takes one hour.

Cenote Yokdzonot

Discover the experience of descending to this beautiful cenote to see the union between the surface and the underground world. Driving fro chichen itza to yokdzonot takes 20 minutes and another 20 minutes to go back to the restaurant. Time for swimming its one hour. Consider 30 minutes for changing your clothes at the beginning and at the end of the experience.

We stayed in Merida in early July with my family of 4. Even before we arrived Argel was in touch with us, as there were some concerns around Hurricane Beryl he was in touch with us a few days before our arrival to let us know what was happening. We were able to get on a flight a day after originally planned (our original flight was cancelled) Argel was all over it, and was waiting for us for pickup at Merida airport. To say his knowledge is exceptional is an understatement. My children speak spanglish and he made sure to cater our tours in English. Both kids and husband were impressed by his knowledge, we all took a lot away with us. He provided bottles of water because it was HOT and the car was always clean and comfortable. I can't speak highly enough about Argel. As a side note, he also does tours to Cancun. I will definitely be reaching out to Argel on my next visit

If you’re looking for a local guide from the Yucatán region look no further. Argel from yucatanawesometours.com made out vacation tours stress free. We booked 2 days stress free via WhatsApp everything he planned for us was perfect and full of detai with no hidden fees. The tours are private so he makes it more personal to understand the region rich history. I been to 14 countries and can say Argel is one of the top guides we have hired. Nothing on the tours is rushed, it’s a 1 on 1 experience and expedition.
