Ingapirca is the most important archaeological complex in Ecuador, once there you will learn about the Cañari and Incan cultures and the different methods of construction that date back to 500 years ago!. Also in this nice tour you will visit the Incan face mountain, an interesting spot wich is located 20min away from the complex

.Additionally on this tour you will visit a magnificent church of Biblian located into a cliff of a sacred cañari mountain from where you will enjoy a fantastic view of Biblian town and the andes scenery.

Ingapirca is considered the most important archeological site of Ecuador, and here the guide will explain about the Cañari and Inca cultures traveling by sectors Cañari-Inca walls and appreciating the unique elliptical temple which was the Tahuantinsuyo.

Our guide Diego was excellent and gave us great details about the history of Ecuador on the way to the Cañari /Inca ruins at Ingapirca . He was also very knowledgeable about the Cañari and Inca history, culture and arquitecture of the ruins. He was pleasant, friendly and professional throughout and we really enjoyed his conversation and guiding.

We booked this tour in threes and it was quite wonderful! We wrote Edison (the owner) beforehand that we eat vegetarian and even that wish was taken into account. Our tour guide Sebastián gave us a small city tour of Cuenca and answered all our questions. The excursion to the church and Ingapirca was also incredibly interesting, you can tell that Sebastián is an experienced and passionate guide. Thank you for the great tour! Olga, Lana and Mimi

This was an exceptional tour! Our guide Pedro was wonderful, he brought so much to our experience of the archeological site. We enjoyed everything and returned positively transformed by this special place and the people we met there. Highly recommend!

Couture to In The Perca out of Cuca Ecuador the elevation was high and I have struggled with it a bit, but the tour guide was kind and patient and I had a great time. I’d do it again in an instant.

Eddie from Polylepis Tours was prompt with pick up from hotel. The drive to Ingapirca was good with seeing the countryside and communities. The Ingapirca complex and information provided was sufficient - wear warm layers since blustery. The lunch was at a local restaurant near the complex and was also tasty. After Ingapirca, visited the Catholic Church in Bibliań and then drive back to Cuenca. Overall, had a nice day and would recommend.

The tour was very well organised, professional and most importantly, fun and informative! Eddy knows the tour like the back of his hand and was sharing a lot of knowledge and interesting facts during the tour. He is a very passionate guide and you could feel the proudness towards Ecuador whenever he speaks. One of the best guides we ever had and we can definitely recommend this tour 100%.

I’m so glad that I booked this trip! I had a wonderful time with Edison. This well worth my time and every dollar spent. I like how you’re picked up at your hotel or Air BnB. The tour group was very small and ideal in my opinion. So much information was shared that I was taken aback by the rich history of the region. I learned a lot so this was right up my alley. Edison is very personable and doesn’t mind if you ask a lot of questions. He is very proud of being Ecuadorian, as he should be. I would do this tour again. I highly recommend the tour. Oh, do the tour where lunch is included. You will eat a very traditional Ecuadorian meal.
