Ingapirca is the most important archaeological complex in Ecuador, once there you will learn about the Cañari and Incan cultures and the different methods of construction that date back to 500 years ago!. Also in this nice tour you will visit the Incan face mountain, an interesting spot wich is located 20min away from the complex

.Additionally on this tour you will visit a magnificent church of Biblian located into a cliff of a sacred cañari mountain from where you will enjoy a fantastic view of Biblian town and the andes scenery.

Ingapirca is considered the most important archeological site of Ecuador, and here the guide will explain about the Cañari and Inca cultures traveling by sectors Cañari-Inca walls and appreciating the unique elliptical temple which was the Tahuantinsuyo.

I signed up for a private tour to Ingapirca Ruins. My tour guide was Pedro, he had great knowledge of the history of the ruins, the small towns that we passed by along the way and even stopping to show me how the Ecuadorian dish , guy (roast pig) was cooked and how different parts get cooked. We had a great hike at the ruins and surrounding areas. Pedro was a great communicator and able to interact with the locals so I was able to take some photos. I’m happy with Pedro, he was such a great guide and making the trip amazing.

Great trip with Diego. He is really knowledgeable about Inga Pirca and the surrounding area. We took our time strolling around, I never felt rushed and I learnt a lot from him. I would recommend this tour.

An unforgettable Ingapirca day tour! I joined the full-day Ingapirca tour with two other travelers, and it was fantastic from beginning to end. Our guide, Sebastian, made the experience truly special — his deep knowledge and engaging storytelling brought the ancient Inca and Cañari history to life. It really felt like a journey back in time. Everything was perfectly organized, and we enjoyed every moment of the trip. José and Cristian were a great team. Cristian was our guide and he did not disappoint. He shared an amazing amount of information about local culture, Cañari and Inca cultures/history, and their impact on modern Ecuador. The sites were more than worth the time. Money well spent, and personally, a very enriching experience. Thank you gentlemen.

We had a great tour with Polylepis Tours, despite the weather. Sebastián was a fantastic guide. He was super helpful, so knowledgeable and kindly answered every question we asked. We really enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend as we learnt so much about the Inca sight, the history and more generally about Cuenca and Ecuador. Thank you for a memorable trip

Edy Zea of Polylepis tours provided us with a fantastic day trip. He was a treasure trove of historical information, giving us background on the Canari and Inca people. He was great to talk with and also gave us great insights into Ecuadorian culture and life today. The site of Ingapirca was well maintained and managed.
