Taboo is a cozy sailing wooden catamaran and the perfect way to discover Mo’orea’s wonders. Get ready to share with us a memorable day :)
The tour is around 6h30/7h long, from midday to the Sun setting down. You’ll first enjoy magical wildlife encounters and then our famous Sunset Sailing Cruise.
We are going to sail along the North coast and do 3 snorkeling stops to explore underwater wildlife. You'll swim with black tip sharks & sting rays, colorful tropical fishes in a coral garden, Tikis (traditional polynesian statues), clams… and we will looking for turtles too.
Then, we are going to sail to Cooks and Opunohu bay as well as on the open ocean to enjoy a quiet moment with Mo’orea majestic landscapes and the Sun setting down.
We serve a tasty and delicious plate of fresh local fruits and beverages (maitai cocktails, fruit juices and water).
Taboo offers intimate sailing cruises (max 8 guests) and guarantees to offer you the experience of a lifetime !

We are going to sail along the north coast. We will do several snorkeling stops for swimming with sharks and rays, colorful fishes, clams, underwater Tikis… You’ll enjoy heavenly places, as Tiahura’s coral garden motus, and pristine waters. If you don’t want to go in the water no worries you’ll enjoy the tour too. Then we will do a sunset sailing cruise for discovering Cooks and Opunohu Bays, and Mo’orea’s landscapes from the open ocean with the sweetness of a Polynesian sunset

5.00Max and Jade were excellent guides on our afternoon snorkeling trip. They took us to the right places to see black-tipped sharks, sting rays, green turtles. It was an excellent afternoon. Leo took over as captain for the sunset cruise and he, too, was an excellent captain/guide. It was a full day and so much fun!

5.00The snorkeling and sunset cruise on Taboo was excellent! Captain Leo and crew were very courteous and engaging. The snorkeling spots were beautiful and Capt. Leo shared great information about fish and local culture. The clouds didn't cooperate for our sunset cruise but that did not stop it from being a great adventure. Sailing outside the barrier was exciting and again, Capt. Leo engaged us in great conversation, and he makes a great Mai Tai! We loved the experience and recommend this full day snorkel and sunset tour!
