The impressive Rainbow Mountain awaits adventurers in the Vilcanota mountain range, at an altitude of 5036 meters. This full-day hike offers an exciting journey through vibrant landscapes, marked by unique mineral compositions, giving rise to stunning hues that captivate all visitors. The walk includes a guided experience that will allow you to understand the geological wonders and cultural significance of this sacred site. After the ascent, enjoy a delicious buffet lunch before returning to Cusco, allowing you to enjoy a rewarding day of exploration and discovery.

Your adventure starts very early with pickup from your hotel in Cusco. Your guide will accompany you all the way to the stunning Mountain of Colors, a journey of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes that will allow you to see the sunrise over the Andean landscapes.
Cusipata
We will arrive at a restaurant in Cusipata, where a varied breakfast buffet awaits. You’ll have 35 minutes to enjoy fresh fruits, cereals, coffee and breads – ideal for pre-hike energy. Afterwards, we will continue the journey along a safe route to the starting point.

5.00We loved the tour from hotel pickup to return, people (driver and guide) with charisma, humility and high experience and knowledge in history. They explain everything to you in detail, care and many possibilities to reach the top. I recommend it 100% without a doubt. 5.00It is a pretty intense tour on the subject of height but our guide Cristian is very prepared and was with us the whole time and the truth is that the beauties our eyes saw were completely worth it. 100% recommended. It was a wonderful experience.

When I suffered from altitude sickness and couldn’t function, he acted with great professionalism and care — checked my vital signs, provided oxygen, and made sure I was constantly looked after. In addition, during the long drive he shared a lot of knowledge and created a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere. A responsible, kind, and very professional guide.

5.00Fantastic walk. We got sun rain and snow in the about 3 hours we spent there. Amazing experience. Excellent guide and very cordial. He knows a lot about the country and the region and gave us all his extensive knowledge. Following a personal experience: it took about 15 minutes to get to the top of the mountain (5000 meters above sea level), I went badly and turned off for a few seconds and the guide Cristian came to help me very quickly. I think in less than 30 seconds, I'll calculate. He helped me, gave me even more guidance and went on to join the group again. A special thanks to the guide Cristian who even sent me a message at the end of the day asking how I was feeling.

5.00Another day, another tour with Travel Peru. This time we visited Vinicunca Mountain with Ronmel as our guide. The views were simply spectacular and the experience unforgettable. Ronmel was an exceptional guide: very attentive, helpful and knowledgeable, always willing to help and explain every detail of the place. It was a real pleasure to share this tour with him. Fully recommended.
