Looking for a day trip outside Addis Ababa? Taking a trip to Wenchi Crater Lake is a nice choice for spending your weekend vacation. Wenchi Crater Lake is 155 km west of Addis Ababa, between Ambo and Weliso. An extinct volcano, the top of which is 3380 meters above sea level, is a crater that contains a large lake, hot mineral springs, waterfalls, beautiful valleys and farmland. There is an old monastery with a church situated on one of the lake islands.

We will be driving to the west from Addis Ababa to Lake Wenchi Its 155 km west of Addis Ababa, on the way to Ambo and Welliso road this lake was an extinct volcano (the top of which is 3380 metres above sea level) the crater contains a large lake, hot mineral springs, waterfalls and beautiful valleys and farmland and monastery of Kirkos and the hot spring valley. After the visit, return to Addis Ababa. Later you will be transferred to where ever you want for your departure.

5.00Excellent operators, so professionals. Am glad i did the tour with them because i had a horrible experience with the previous operator it almost ruined my trip vibe. So glad i met them, very friendly and personalized the tour to my preference. we took lots of pics and sipped plenty of coffee. Will definitely recommend for my friends and my upcoming tours.
