  Gustavo Ghisi is the most experienced tour guide you can encounter in the Lisbon area. This is my second time in Lisbon and my second time traveling with Gustavo. He totally takes his time to ensure you are comfortable and taken care off. He has vast knowledge on the history of the area. His recommendations for lunch and his ability to deal with locals is the best there is. 100% recommended!

  Nothing to say… Gustavo was the best guide we could have possibly had! Kind at all times, very attentive, he answered all our questions and advised us on what purchases to make. We truly appreciate his excellent attitude and professionalism. Everything was absolutely impeccable, really!

  Our driver/guide Tiago was amazing. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Portugal that you won’t find anywhere else. He gave great recommendations for things to do around Lisbon. Highly recommend him as your guide if you get the chance.

  The booking and execution of the tour was flawless. It was so convenient that the tour guide picked us up where we stayed, not at a meeting point. Tierry, our tour guide is a consummate guide. I give him 5 BIG stars. The man is very knowledgeable of the sites and whole environment. His enthusiasm and passion for his job is unmatched. He was always alert, sensing the mood of his clients and making the right adjustments and recommendations at every juncture. If I come back and book with Ghisi Tours I will certainly ask for Tierry again. Thank you Tierry for a great experience.

  Gustavo is the ultimate tour guide! He was recommended to me by a friend who spoke highly of their own experience. From the start, Gustavo was quick to communicate, offered various options to accommodate our travel, and was patient as I was planning. Gustavo checked in to make sure we arrived in Lisbon safely, arrived on time for our scheduled appointments, and safely transported us around the area in his passenger van. He was accommodating, as I was traveling with family ranging from 10 to 76 years old. Everyone had a blast during our 8 hour tour! He curated our tour based on our requests. We have a fabulous time walking around Sintra while he shared the history of the area. Went to the Pena Palace where he knew everyone there. He was even kind enough to take photos of us throughout the day and send them to me after. His recommendation for lunch in Cascais was perfect. Throughout the drive, Gustavo shared interesting information about the country and culture. He knew many people across all of our stops throughout the day! I also booked Gustavo for transportation between Lisbon and Sesimbra. He was timely and accommodating. I was able to pay for everything up front before arriving using the WISE platform, so I didn’t have to carry extra cash or access my banking information for a transfer when out of the country. We highly recommend Gustavo if you want the best tour in Portugal!

  We booked a full-day trip to Sintra, Cabo da Roca, and Cascais for May 13. Our guide, Gustavo Ghisi, contacted us early in the morning to let us know that he might be slightly delayed due to heavy traffic, which we appreciated. We then picked up another couple and a single guest, making our group a total of five people, which we really enjoyed. We began our tour by driving directly to Sintra. Gustavo is an experienced guide and an excellent driver, skillfully navigating the heavy traffic to Sintra, the narrow streets of the town, and the winding roads around Pena Palace. In Cascais, Gustavo recommended a wonderful restaurant, Cervejaria Luzmar. My partner Sharon, who is vegan, was served an excellent meal, and I thoroughly enjoyed mine as well. Gustavo was professional, knowledgeable, and generous with his time. He shared with us the fascinating history of Sintra, Cabo da Roca, and Cascais, from the earliest inhabitants to modern times. We would certainly recommend Gustavo to all our friends and to anyone planning to visit Lisbon, Sintra, and Cascais. Sharon and Guillermo

  Loved this tour and our local driver/guide Teirry. Teirry was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Sintra, Lisbon and Cascais. During the tour we were also able to eat local food and pastries. It was very nice to hear from Teirry the day before to confirm the tour arrangements.   Had a really great trip to Sintra & Cascais! I don’t think visiting Portugal would be complete without it! I thought our guide, David, was very knowledgeable (especially in regards to the Pena Palace and where to check out during each stop)! We were lucky enough to have a private tour which made the trip even better!
