Heading east from Salzburg City the first lake we pass is the emerald lake Fuschlsee passing by also hotel Schloss Fushl and the headquarters of Red Bull! On request a photo stop at Red Bull will be possible!
St Gilgen
Photo stop high over the St.Gilgen, also a site from "The Sound of Music" movie. On the way to Hallstatt we go through the famous Lakes and Mountains district “Salzkammergut” passing by also hotel Schloss Fuschl and the headquarters of Red Bull.

5.00Shiva was a fantastic tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable and provided valuable guidance throughout the tour. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable throughout the day, provided recommendations, and shared key details about Austria that were unique and insightful. The sights were of course beautiful, but having Shiva as our guide really made for an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to visit Hallstatt and the nearby lakes as a day trip from Salzburg.

5.00Wow! Wow! Wow! Such a great tour and excellent experience. Shiva, our guide, picked us up from our hotel in the morning and we were off on a beautiful adventure. The van we were in was comfortable, and Shiva was an encyclopedia of information! We learned so much and saw so many fantastic sights throughout the day. The tour was the perfect amount of time, and we really appreciated the extra little stops along the way. Shiva was welcoming from the start, broke the ice with introductions, and helped everyone get to know each other, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

5.00We had an amazing day to Lake Wolfgang, then on to Hallstadt and a scenic drive through the Alps on the way back to Salzburg with our driver/guide Fritz. Highly recommend!

5.00Shiva is a amazing tour guide. He knows the place like the back of this hand. He made the best use of the 8 hours we had, giving details about historic and current importance of the various sites. At the end of the tour, he even took time to suggest, indivudially to most in the group, good places to eat and hang out for the rest of the evening. Highly recommended Edelweiss Tours.

5.00Shiva was our driver & be was fabulous! Very knowledgeable & very nice. Our tour was in a nice van not a large bus. It was clean & odor-free. Highly recommend Shiva for any tour in Austria!

5.00Shiva was the most amazing tour guide ever. I have been to 41 countries and his wealth of knowledge rivals none. He was pleasant and tolerant of all travel companions despite tardiness. He made sure we enjoyed every aspect of the trip and even offered advice as to other non tour activities a true pleasure! Always a fan of a UNESCO heritage site! Best tour! A must see!
