4.00Amazing all day and evening tour to see the west of the country. The wonderful tour guide is a real historian eager to tell you everything about PR’s history. We learned so much from him! And he showed us so many beautiful beaches! The Cabo Rojo lighthouse was a highlight, including the walk around the beautiful area. I would skip the bioluminescent bay boat ride since it makes you return to San Juan after 10 pm and you don’t see much if the moon is out! If you like a long scenic ride with beach stops and a lot of deep history discussion, this tour is for you!

5.00Our tour guide was fabulous, a history degree, born in PR, shared a wealth of knowledge. Dr. Jose showed us beautiful beaches and I had the best fish tacos for lunch. I took a short swim in Caribbean. Not advised to swim on the Atlantic side.

5.00Very interesting tour. Jose, the guide, provides plenty of information on each town and landmark with historic and socio-economical background for each subject. It was a day well spent full of information and intelligent conversation.

5.00Dr. Jose Morales, is a superb tour guide and was very knowledgeable of the area and Puerto Rican history. He tied where we were along the tour route and the history over 6 centuries of human activities from indigenous (Taino) to Spanish and inclusion of African slavery to US hegemony in this hemisphere. He kept the interest on each walkabouts select areas from San Juan to west coast to the light house and bioluminescent bay. The day ended with pleasant exhaustion, mind full and much exercise.

5.00We had such a wonderful day doing the West Coast tour! We were so happy to see so much of the island, and a lot of places tourists hardly ever see. This was a long day, but moves at a nice pace so it is not too overwhelming. There is plenty of time between stops to cool off and have snacks in the car. Jose was so wonderfully accommodating to whatever our group wanted to do and took us to some really amazing sights! We learned so much about the island and its history, it kept us engaged all day. The highlight was the cool fruit smoothie in the evening from a fresh fruit stand!
