With a winemaker as your guide; your tour starts with an informative vineyard stroll. You can ask all those curly questions, and capture some great vineyard photos.

During your full day tour you visit 4-6 wineries which could include a local brewery (depending on the preferences of the group), with over 40 cellar doors to choose from, if you’ve got a favorite we’ll do our best to get you there. We generally focus on a new Zealand family owned vineyards and wineries but can also visit the small boutique and organic vineyards.

This tour does not include a visit to Cloudy Bay, Fromm and Hans Herzog. If Cloudy Bay is a must see then please book our Gourmet Gold Tour or a Private Wine tour

Lunch at a vineyard restaurant is always a highlight and is at your own cost. There is opportunity to visit the Makana Chocolate Shop.

Would highly recommend this tour, from start to finish it was excellent. Booked only a couple of days before, recieved pick up information the evening before. Prompt pick up and as there were no other bookings that day, it turned into private tour for us with Darlene who was so friendly, knowledgable, polite and professional throughout. She was happy for us to ask any questions, took photos of us and made the day flow efficiently and time flew quickly. As a non-wine drinker, there was a lot of wine, approx 4 per vineyard and I was quickly converted to NZ wines! All the vineyard staff were also friendly and knowledgable. We paid seperately for lunch at Saint Claire Vineyard which was amazing, recommend the sharing platter to try a varied selection of the area’s local produce. The whole day was organised brilliantly and was a highlight of our trip in NZ, so thank you!

It was a great tour of the wineries and the tastings were extensive. The van was clean and comfortable with not much driving between stops Darlene was a great driver and host

We thoroughly enjoyed our day out with Cam to the vineyards. Allowed us ample time do enjoy each of the wineries and had great insider knowledge to add. The chocolate shop stop was an excellent addition. Definitely recommend this tour.

Our host Darlene was amazing, knowledgeable and friendly. We visited many wineries and the chocolate place. Lunch was also wonderful.
