With a winemaker or local legend as your guide; your tour starts with an informative vineyard stroll. You can ask all those curly questions, and capture some great vineyard photos.
During your full day tour you visit 4-6 wineries which could include a local brewery (depending on the preferences of the group), with over 40 cellar doors to choose from, if you’ve got a favorite we’ll do our best to get you there. We generally focus on a new Zealand family owned vineyards and wineries but can also visit the small boutique and organic vineyards.
This tour does not include a visit to Cloudy Bay, Fromm and Hans Herzog. If Cloudy Bay is a must see then please book our Gourmet Gold Tour or a Private Wine tour
Lunch at a vineyard restaurant is always a highlight and is at your own cost. There is opportunity to visit the Makana Chocolate Shop.

5.00We did the full day winemaker tour and visited 5 different vineyards including one with a delicious local lunch. Amazing guide and driver, Cam, who as a vintner explained all about the area, the wine making and the wines we tried. I think we tasted 20 wines but I may have lost count. Thoroughly recommend and they pick you up and drop you off at your hotel/campsite.

5.00Highly recommend, Darlene was a fantastic Tour Guide. She was Knowledgeable and informative. She navigated the group to each of the wineries with friendly and caring attitude. The wineries that she selected for our tastings was varied and very pleasurable. The lunch/ tasting restaurant was excellent. Thank you Darlene for a most enjoyable Day!

5.00Darlene was a courtious and knowledgeable guide. Her relationship we the wineries was notable. The choice of smaller wineries was an excellent plan as we were able to understand the differences. We learnt a lot about the NZ wine industry and had a most pleasurable time. Highly recommend

5.00It’s a small group tour which made the day even more enjoyable. Amanda was our guide and driver, she made a real effort to welcome everyone and explain each stop and the reasons for it. We visited 5 wineries and each was different for a number of reasons. There was a host at each winery who explained their history and each wine we tasted, around 4/5 at each one. There was the opportunity to buy wines at each stop but no sales pitch or hard sell from anyone. As it was a small group, everyone got to know each other and made the day very sociable.

5.00Fantastic day wine tasting in the Marlborough region. Amanda, our guide was amazing and very knowledgeable about the area’s vineyards and their wines. There was plenty of wine available and the vineyards were very welcoming.

5.00A really special day of wine tasting at 5 different wineries. Had a lovely lunch at St Clair and also a visit to an excellent chocolate shop. Our guide Amanda was very insightful and a really friendly and wonderful person to spend the day with.

5.00A great way to tour Marlborough wineries. Maurice was a great guide and we appreciated being able to visit perhaps the lesser known, boutique wineries. A visit to Gibson Bridge was a highlight, where Julie the co-owner gave us a fascinating wine tasting with loads of information. Would definitely recommend.

5.00Darlene, our Tour Guide was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and informative. She was friendly and always ready to take photos for us. We visited 5 wineries. Tasted some lovely wines with great backgrounds explained. Eight people on our bus - all lovely to talk to, made the day very special
