An early pick up form your hotel (8h00 approximately) to take a ride through Occidental Av. to the embarking point of TeleferiQ Cable Car parking lot (2950 m.A.S.L) to mount up on our teleferico car. You will ride up 4050 m. high to land on the Pichincha ladders, aka. Cruz Loma. The chilly wind and the lovely landscape is ideal for a small hike o optional horse ride on the area. This site offers an outstanding panoramic view of almost the whole Quito City and the volcanoes that shield her (a open sky day provide view of Antisana, Cotopaxi and Cayambe and up to 13 volcanoes and summits around Quito).

Mitad Del Mundo

You will then ride to the northern part of the city towards Middle of the World Site. On the small Mitad del Mundo citadel you will visit the Middle of the World Monument, built in honor to the French Scientific Expedition (XVIII century) that tried to define the location of the equator for the first time. Afterwards, you will visit the Inti Ñan Museum, a scientific and cultural museum located in the real location of the Equator Line. We will hit the road again heading back to the city to step into the past wondering around Quito Historical Center. The trip takes a brake here for lunch, your guide will give you some great options to introduce you to a bit of the Andean cuisine (lunch not included).
