You can swim at the waterfall with clothes or you could bring a swimsuit under clothes because there is no place to change there
We recommend wearing water shoes or sport shoes with good grip that you don't mind if get wet, avoid beach sandals, Crocs or flip flops
Mosquito repellent is not required. Bring sunscreen and a hat
Bring an extra change of dry clothes for the trip back to your accommodation
Bring cash in case you want to buy souvenirs or have a temporary tattoo

Welcome to an experience like no other in Panama, awesome blend of kayaking, hiking and culture in the stunning rainforest. This adventure begins with the ease of pick-up from your accommodation in downtown Panama City or Casco Viejo. After a 50-minute van ride, you'll find yourself at the shore of the Chagres River. A canoe will take us to a higher point for our kayaking adventure. As you glide along the river, the stream will assist you so this adventure is suitable for participants without previous kayaking experience and safe for non-swimmers.
Chagres National Park
Along the way, we'll pause for a 20-minute hike through the lush rainforest, walking through the mud, sand, and slippery rocks, leading us to a pristine waterfall. The refreshing sensation of swimming in this natural oasis is a perfect way to connect with nature! After that, we'll make our way back to continue our journey down the river until a village of the Embera tribe. Here, you'll have traditional lunch and have the opportunity to change to dry clothes in the available bathrooms before exploring their beautiful handicrafts. After a day of adventure and cultural immersion, a canoe will take us back to the van, then relax and rest as we return to your accommodation. Recomendations: Wear water shoes or sport shoes with good grip that you don't mind if get wet. Bring sunscreen. Mosquito repellent is not required. 5.00Incredible, highly recommend. Food was great, tour was great, not a bad drive, really cool experience. Our guide Alci was great with us and helped us with everything we needed.
Overall good. The guide was very helpful. Only complaint it was busy with all customers especially at the waterfall.

5.00It was fanfrickintastic! I loved every minute of it and meeting one of the indigenous people of Panama was the highlight of this trip. The people were wonderful, warm and welcoming.

5.00Pickup is pretty on time Guide, Alci, speaks good English and knowledgeable and friendly We are a small group of 9 people. Whole itinerary is as described Kayaking is a bit short but the river is very beautiful. 5 minutes hiking through rough road to the water fall which is very nice. Water is very refreshing. Clothes dried fast, didn’t even change. Food at the Embera community is good. After lunch, a show of dancing. Then we still have time to walk around the community and shop for souvenirs.
