As we make our way up the winding roads of El Yunque, the rainforest comes alive around us. 5.00We thoroughly enjoyed our El Yunque adventure! Matthew was a wonderful guide, and a wealth of knowledge about the rain forest and Puerto Rico. He was easy going, fun to talk to and was just great to be around. You could tell he really enjoys what he’s doing, ..loves being in the rainforest and sharing its wonders with others. He was also attentive and helpful in guiding us up the steeper, muddier trails. Our favorite trail he took us on was the Angelitos trail which leads to a beautiful river where you can swim and hang out in the rocks. We did this trail first and were the only ones on it & by the river for most the time (we had requested avoiding the crowds if possible). We will definitely try to book with Matthew again to explore more of El Yunque when we come back!

5.00Highlight of our time in Puerto Rico! Matthew was a great guide and the personalised trip made our experience in Yunque perfect. He provided a customised trip based on our preferences, and offered interesting information and asides that demonstrated his in-depth knowledge about the rainforest/region. Yunque herself was amazing and showed off on her own :) but it was nice to experience on this stress-free, relaxed tour. I felt I learned a lot about the rainforest in a fun way and left me wishing we had more time! Strongly recommend.
