As we make our way up the winding roads of El Yunque, the rainforest comes alive around us. 5.00This tour was perfect for the four of us! Matthew is an entrepreneur—incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic! He tailored the tour to our interests about the rainforest and answered our many questions. He knows the history of the local people and their legends as well as a lot of information about the plants and the entire ecosystem. We requested no swimming/sliding, so it was a great to do only what we wanted to do. I would recommend this tour highly and consider it a real bargain for the lovely experience we had! Thank you, Matthew! You’re a gem!

5.00Matthew’s tour from start to finish was absolutely amazing!! I would highly recommend this tour if you want a fully customized day that avoids the crowds! Matthew is very knowledgeable about the rain forest and all it has to offer. We started down a short trail that ended at a swimming area. We also fed the trout and swam with them. It was really cool and I’m so glad I took the plunge! Both going down and coming back Matthew educated us on the vegetation, etc. It was very informative and exactly what we were wanting. Next, we drove to some waterfalls. Going up Matthew pointed out an area where we could get into the water near a lower waterfall. We were the only ones at this location. As we made our way up to the next level there weee quite a few people. Matthew suggested going even further up. While this climb was a bit challenging for us I’m so glad we did it and saw another area of the waterfall where we had the area to ourselves. At the end, we climbed up the tower to get a 360 view of the rainforest and the town of Luquillo below. We captured some amazing pictures and were able to move at our own pace which we really enjoyed.

5.00Matthew was simply incredible as a tour guide. He is so energetic and knowledgeable about the rain forest. He customized the tour based on our needs as were travelling with a toddler. He'll be booked well in advance, so plan it accordingly. Highly recommend!

5.00Matthew was an excellent tour guide! He created a great customized itinerary for us and let us spend as much time at each stop as we wanted; we never felt rushed. He provided a lot of interesting information about Puerto Rico and the rainforest. He made the process so easy and fun for us. I'm so glad I booked a tour rather than trying to navigate around the park myself. I highly recommend him!
