5.00Galle Fort is well preserved, well maintained and epitomises the appeal of this tour. Views, visions and vignettes of Portuguese, Dutch and British warriors over 5 centuries add to the rich history and culture. The tsunami museum is humbling and graphic. The visit to the spice garden mixed flavours with medicinal use. A full and fascinating day worthy of the 3 hour drive.
