Not what I thought it would be

3.00There was nothing wrong with the tour itself, but it had nothing to do with Irish food. We sampled coffee from south america, chocolate and baguettes from france, pork belly from korea, sushi from japan...etc. Irish whiskey was the only Irish food we were offered. Strange, because all of the other food tours I have been on were foods of the culture/country we were visiting which helped us understand the traditions and history of the culture. I thought we would, at least, get Galway oysters, but we didn't. If you just want a taste of the "foodie" scene, this might be good for you, but if you want a taste of traditional Irish food and culture, this is not it.

5.00It’s not just a food tour, but also local history was added to complement the experience. Highly recommended to spend a couple of hours with a walk with Ollie, our patience tour expert.

5.00I found myself in Galway over the weekend during a business trip and a colleague local to the area recommended this tour. While not generally something I would want to do for fear of "looking like a tourist" I cannot recommend this tour more. I had a fabulous time, the food was more than plenty and delicious, and our tour guide Danny was brilliant.
The experience is a must for visitors & locals. Our tour went the gamut of local locations and kindnesses!

5.00A great food tour for someone who is open to trying all kinds of food. Enjoyed chocolates, cheeses, meats, fried cheese, and different types of alcohol. Lunch was a delicious seafood meal. My guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend for anyone looking to try good food.

5.00This food tour was FANTASTIC and the perfect way to begin our visit to Galway. It combined a guided walk through the city with an incredible variety of delicious food and drink. Definitely arrive hungry, as there is plenty to enjoy! They catered happily to a few vegan and vegetarian food requirements. Olly our guide was wonderful, so warm and friendly and full of info and stories that brought the experience to life. We felt so welcome at every stop. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Galway. Thank you Olly from the 10 girls from Yorkshire.

5.00We were not hungry when we left. there was a wide variety of foods tasted and sampled. Then we had a pint or two. it was simply a splendid food tour that I would highly recommend to anybody that has ever eaten anything in their lives or had a drink of anything.

5.00We LOVED this food tour. It was a great way to get to know the city and culture. Olly was a wonderful guide! She was very knowledgeable, friendly, welcoming and overall great craic. The tour is geared towards adults, but they have found ways to make it special for younger kids who tag along and Olly was especially good at incorporating them.
