  Great day out, the studios are amazing. Only tiny downside is the booking info has no detail I could find around the finish time/when the transport would return to Belfast. I wasn’t the only one missing this info as there were other guests with the same query on my tour. This info was eventually provided but it would have been good to know beforehand.

  Group of 6 family members visited in April 2026. The tour was good but as a huge GOT fan I was disappointed. I think it has the potential to be much better. I’m also probably unfairly comparing as I’m also a big HP fan and have been to the London studios twice, most recently in October 2025, we spent 5 hours there and it was magic. I totally understand this venue is much smaller with a smaller budget. Some positives: 1. The sets, props and costumes were brilliant. Props like jewellery, Jaimes hand, dragon eggs are very cool. Costumes are incredible, Margaerys wedding dress is stunning! 2. The few interactive elements are good - hall of faces, green screen at the start, photo op with a sword and a white walker, motion capture screens. Photo op on the Iron Throne though I think it would be better placed at some point in the tour rather than in the gift shop. 3. We went on a Wednesday in the Easter holidays and it was fairly quiet lots of space to move around and see everything. 4. Entry was good doing the short video and then through the tunnel but if it was bigger it would have more of an impact. Negatives/improvements: 1. The bus transfer - was advised to be there 15 minutes early but there was no need we were just standing around the whole time. The transfer itself could be made fun and interactive if the driver done a bit of chatting, quiz, played some GOT music. There was nothing just a normal bus. 2. If some staff were walking around / at certain points explaining things, giving you more detail this would add to the experience. 3. Needs more interactive elements. Photo ops, engagement with staff as said above, things you can actually touch, sets you can sit on, outdoor lot. 4. Have some music for atmosphere. GOT has some amazing music play it! 5. The tour was over much quicker than expected. It could be double the length from just GOT additions but they should add HOTD and AKOTSK too. 6. We had to wait over an hour for the return bus. This was a bit of a downer to the end of the visit, we ate at the cafe, done the gift shop again and just sat around waiting. I would say if you are a fan and in Belfast anyway then do visit but don’t come to Belfast just for this.

  A magical afternoon in the Game of thrones studios!! A total immersion in this universe that I strongly advise to all fans of GOT!!! You're going to be shocked. Must do if you are in Northern Ireland!!!

  What a fabulous experience! It wasn't crazy busy when I went so there was plenty of time to appreciate all of the expertise amassed to make Game of Thrones. It was incredible to see the attention to detail of the costumes, weaponry, scenery let alone the technology used to create the final imagery! The staff in the shop at the end of the tour were friendly, helpful and super accommodating guaranteeing that you had time to make your purchases without being left by your booked transport!   The tour started with a pickup from the city centre around 9:30 am and ended at 1:15 pm. This tour doesn't include afternoon tea (which is £30), but you can add it by calling the tour’s support line. The experience is excellent, as the sets and props are laid out beautifully. You can also choose to leave later, around 2:00 pm, but you’ll need to notify them in advance so they can book a space for you on the shuttle.

  Absolutely loved this ! Went with family and thought the experience was amazing with very helpful staff and amazing insights into the creation of game of thrones ! The key aspects of the Studio Tour: • Location: Situated at Linen Mill Studios, Banbridge, Northern Ireland, approximately 30-minutes from Belfast and 90-minutes from Dublin • Immersive Experience: It is the only official Game of Thrones studio tour in the world, featuring original sets including the Great Hall of Winterfell, Castle Black, and the Iron Throne • Behind-the-Scenes: The tour showcases the artistry behind the scenes, revealing how props, costumes, and visual effects were created • Interactive Elements: Visitors can participate in green-screen experiences, archery, and interactive, digital displays • Visit Details: The experience is self-guided, usually taking around 2 to 3-hours, and includes a café, restaurant, and a gift shop. Travelled over the water to Ballymena in Northern Ireland in order to visit friends, of whom, kindly took us to what was a truly amazing studio tour of the Game of Thrones, a brutal political manoeuvring, backstabbing, and warfare played by noble houses in Westeros to acquire power and the Iron Throne, which signified that in the quest for control, one either "wins or dies," with the "game" involving both strategic deception and outright military conquest. A must see visit if you are ever visiting Belfast, Northern Ireland.

  This was one of the best tours I have done, the sites and costumes were amazing. I loved it so much I would go back again with my family and friends.
