A treat for all five senses - Culinary Experiences accurately capture the charm of Grenadian culture and cuisine. Leave feeling nourished and fulfilled having learned about Grenadian culture through food, friends, family, and fun!
The tour includes a Cooking Class and a Garden Tour. You will pick your produce from the garden and learn how they have been used for generations to create healthy and delicious Grenadian specialties. Meals can be tailored to suit specific preferences and dietary needs. All are welcome and our most important ingredient is love.

Guests enjoy several interactive culinary activities through out the experience. A guided tour through the Home Hospitality Homestead is also included. Guests can learn about the nutritional and medicinal benefits of all the spices, herbs and vegetables grown there. Unlimited food and drinks are included. Fresh coconut water, local juice and delicious Rum Punch will be flowing for the entire experience!

Kennedy chef and wife were so hospitable we had a lovely afternoon and I highly recommend this experience. Their garden was amazing and oil down cooking was very interesting.

We have been to Grenada 4 times and this was one of our favorite experiences. During the meal, my five-year-old daughter proclaimed, “This is the best lunch I’ve ever had!” We made fritters, oil down, and rum punch, and a virgin punch for our daughter. Chef Kennedy taught us all of his tips and tricks so that I can make the recipes at home. Even better than the delicious food and beverages, was the warm welcome and excellent conversation. While the food cooked, we had a garden tour and got to smell and taste many of the herbs and plants in the garden. If you’re looking for a less “touristy” adventure that feels like a slice of authentic Grenada, I highly recommend Home Hospitality Grenada! My daughter asked me, “Can we do this again?”

This was my favorite experience in Grenada! Chef Kennedy, Nikoyan, and Ms. Lee were so friendly and accommodating it truly felt like being with family. The experience was fun, hands-on, and very informative, with a beautiful garden tour and rich history behind the dishes. The food was absolutely delicious and exactly the authentic Grenadian food we were looking for. They even picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel, and the location was stunning. We loved learning about the plants, fruits, and vegetables, tasting some from the garden, making rum punch, and Nikoyan even gave us bay leaves to take home. My vegan, dairy-free, non-drinking friend was fully accommodated with vegan cakes, vegan oil down, and mango cream instead of ice cream so she got the full experience too. Highly recommend!

A great Caribbean experience with Chef Kennedy where we made Oildown, Grenada’s national dish, and delicious cod fritters. The Rum Punch made to their recipe was fantastic, the best we’ve tasted. The garden tour was also very interesting with the range of fruit, vegetables, herbs and spices. Highly recommended and one of the best things we did on our three weeks in Grenada.

Charming hosts on a beautiful estate. We enjoyed learning about the history and culture of the island as we made a delicious local dish (+ appetizer and a cocktail) with fresh veggies and herbs from their garden. Our hosts adapted the recipe to work with our dietary preferences. We very much enjoyed the garden tour and meeting their friendly dogs. We got a $50 ride from the hosts themselves, pickup from our resort near the airport. The experience lasted about 3 hours.

We enjoyed the cooking class and Chef Kennedy! It was wonderful to try so many things from the garden and to learn about the food and culture in Grenada. Our only feedback would be that the dietary considerations weren't addressed. I expressed that we had 2 vegetarians and a gluten free person and we were served a great deal of fish. Luckily, we do occasionally eat fish, so it wasn't a bad experience. In addition, one of the dishes had flour in it and Chef said that he had a flour alternative but had forgotten about the gluten allergy. All of that aside, the food was delicious and we had fun!

My best friends booked this event for my Birthday, upon my request. We received a call an hour before pick up telling us the event was cancelled, allegedly the chef was sick. The night before the menu options were changed and didn’t cater to our dietary restrictions as stated in description. Calls were attempted, no answer and when they did respond via text it was as if they were upset that we were upset about the unprofessionalism. Definitely wouldn’t recommend will be advising others not to book.

I wish I could actually review this based on the food but unfortunately we never actually made it to the class. An hour before we were supposed to be picked up, I received a message that our experience was cancelled. This was after confirming hours before for a pick up. I was told the chef had the shivers and sweating and then was told he had a stomachache. The operator became upset because I questioned the authenticity of the information I was given. It was just very unprofessional and disappointing because we were excited about the experience.
