After complimentary accommodation pick-up, we will set off for the heart of Gibbston on a small private tour to visit four cellar doors and journey into the ‘valley of the vines’ to discover these vineyards nestled amongst the spectacular mountain ranges and dramatic river gorges.
Before we get to the first winery there will be a stop at a scenic location and travellers will learn about wine-tasting techniques and wine aromas while soaking up the fabulous views.
In one of the wineries, we will savour a vineyard platter or a cheese board to pair with the wines. There will be time for you to order more food if you think you need (at your own expense).
We will visit boutique wineries that are off the beaten path. There is no set routine, so every day is an adventure. The choice of the wineries visited will vary each day based on your individual group's dynamics. The overall focus is on high-quality wines as well as friendly and informative staff.

5.00We had the pleasure of enjoying a private wine tour with Susana as our guide. We were able to choose wineries to visit prior to the tour. My wife and I read reviews and chose three wineries that checked the boxes for us and Susana suggested options for the fourth winery. We enjoyed a beautiful lunch at Mora and tastings at four very diverse wineries - all excellent, but with their own distinct personalities. It was a wonderful and fascinating day and receives our highest recommendation.

5.00We had the best winery experience in our lives with Susana! She took us to four best wineries at her recommendation and all of them were wonderful, had very friendly and experienced hosts and excellent wines for testing and purchasing. Susana has a great personality and excellent sense of humour, she made the tour an amazing experience for all of us that we will remember forever. She also arranged all details perfectly and shifted the schedule when we asked to be back in town by 5pm. Highly recommended!

5.00This was one of the best experiences we had on our trip! It is also one of the best wine tours we have been on. Susana is an extremely knowledgeable and friendly guide. Her relationships with the various wineries lead to excellent tasting experiences. She is also a great photographer and driver of the winding roads. Wine lovers and novices would all enjoy the combination of beautiful locations, wonderful wine, and fascinating history of the Gibbston Valley.

The experience of visiting beautiful boutique vineyards and tasting some truly delicious wines was unforgettable. Susana’s friendly and knowledgeable approach made the tour both informative and fun. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic time, and her passion for wine truly shines through. 5.00Susana was amazing! Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the history of Central Otago wines, she was also very fun! This experience was a surprise for my husband's 30th and Susana went the extra mile and surprised us both with a Happy Birthday banner in the van! The wines we went to were beautiful and the food we has at Mora was exceptional. The whole day was extremely fun and we both left a little drunk and much more knowledgeable about the wines of the region. Plus the photos taken by Susana were perfect and such a good way to remember the day.

She provided great historical insights to enhance our vineyard experience. We felt completely relaxed visiting four unique wineries, and being resident photographer, captured the day beautifully. 5.00The winery tour with Susana was absolutely fantastic!! She was amazing… extremely knowledgeable and informative… as well as conscientious and considerate. She took the time to tailor the day to fit each of our backgrounds and wants… and provided a great history and pertinent explanation to heighten our experience of the vineyards and wine-making in this region. We felt completely relaxed in spite of visiting 4 unique and extraordinary wineries. And she took amazing photographs which captured the day beautifully… to provide photo souvenirs which will remind us of this wonderful day for years to come.
