This unique tour will bring you to the most famous scenic spots in the Netherlands, which are Giethoorn, Afsluitdijk and Zaanse Schans within one day.

In our journey, you would visit a dutch cheese factory, a wooden shoes factory and enjoy a royal diamond demonstration at Zaanse Schans; After that a beautiful photo stop at Afsluitdijk, the longest dike of the world; In the afternoon, you would discover green 'Little Venice' of Holland and enjoy one hour free boat cruise in Giethoorn.

This tour offers free hotel pick-up service within Amsterdam; a luxury and comforable mini bus (Mecedes brand) with maximum 8 persons; and a free bottle of water (one bottle per traveler).

This 10 hours experience gives you a relaxed, memorable and enjoyable tour with a lot of beautiful photos. One remark: Making new friends on the road won't be a bad idea of your travel.

You would expect to have following activities in our VIP tour at Zaanse Schans. you would have a private dutch cheese factory tour, to understand how to make cheese in the traditional way. You could taste more than 26 different types of cheese here. After that, we will take you to a private wooden shoes factory tour. You would watch a live demonstration of making wooden shoes by a traditional clog maker. After that you would have a private Royal Amsterdam Diamond tour, to know the history of diamond, and enjoy the diamond with 268 cuts. Of course you would have your own free time to get close to the windmills and take photos.

Catharina Hoeve Cheese Farm

This attraction is the first stop at Zaanse Schans. As described above, you would experience this old cheese farm/factory, to have a private tour of how to make traditional dutch cheese, get to know the history of this cheese farm, and cheese tasting with more than 26 different flavors.

It was a good trip, but we were 7 in a mini van and hearing the conversation at times was difficult being in the back. We did not visit the diamond demonstration which was not a big deal. It is a long day, the canal cruise and wooden shoe demonstration was good.

Renier is an excellent tour guide. The guide in the Geithoorn boat ride needs to speak a little bit clearly when translating the information into English.
It was raining but our guide Kai made sure we still enjoy our tour

We were picked up at our hotel right on time. It was raining, but the driver really put in the effort to be there on time. Our driver is also our guide, and he did great despite the weather. Kai was excellent. We did not get bored. If you're taking a tour in late November, be sure to wear proper rain gear.

Our guide, Leidse, made this full-day tour to De Soeker windmill, De Afsluitdijk, and Giethoorn an absolute delight. From the moment we boarded the comfortable Mercedes mini-van in Amsterdam, Leidse’s warm energy and deep knowledge of Dutch history set the perfect tone. At De Soeker, he introduced us to this iconic windmill with passion, explaining its role in the accelerated development in Netherland in the past. Then, a delightful short walk to a nearby cheese shop where we sampled creamy aged Gouda and bought blocks to take home. Next, Leidse brought us to a traditional wooden shoe smith, watching the craftsman carve klompen by hand was fascinating. On De Afsluitdijk, Leidse timed our stop perfectly for photos over the IJsselmeer, sharing fascinating facts about the Dutch engineering marvel that turned sea into land. The highlight was the fairytale village Giethoorn. Leidse recommended a traditional Dutch restaurant for lunch and followed by a whisper quiet electric boat, gliding past thatched roofs and flower lined canals like a postcard come alive. Flawless pacing, clean stops. Leidse’s personal touches made this trip exceptionally highly recommended!

No rotation of seating in our Mercedes small bus meant that the people in the back row of seats got to hear less of what the guide was talking about with other travellers and bore the brunt of motion sickness. The places we visited were very interesting places, thank goodness it was the low tourist season. We expected we would see and learn more of the working and construction of the bikes and windmills. The guide was very pleasant. He was a very good driver.

Leidse, our guide, was fabulous, knowledgeable & entertaining. He remembered everyone's name and their interests and addressed everyone accordingly. The schedule was well planned, having enough time to enjoy all sites. It was great to do with a small number of people, 8 + the guide. Having done other larger tours, I highly recommend the smaller ones, the value is definitely there. The vehicle was clean, neat & tidy and driven well. I do highly recommend this tour
