  This tour was truly magical from start to finish. The Leidseplein pick-up was smooth and stress-free, and from the moment we met our guide Leidse, we felt well taken care of. Leidse was warm, knowledgeable, and made the journey feel personal and special. Zaanse Schans was charming, Afsluitdijk was impressive, but Giethoorn stole our hearts — the peaceful boat ride and storybook scenery were unforgettable. Everything was perfectly organized, relaxed, and full of beautiful moments. If you’re visiting Amsterdam, don’t miss this tour — and if you’re lucky enough to have Leidse as your guide, you’re in for a wonderful day!

  Absolutely the best tour with the best guide! You cannot go wrong booking this tour. I had Leidse as a tour guide and was traveling solo- he made the whole experience wonderful. He was full of knowledge of the history of the places we visited and made recommendations for restaurants and experiences along the way and made sure we all had enough time to explore the sites independently after the guided portions. When we bought souvenirs he took them and carried them all back to the van so we didn’t have to carry them while exploring. He was also available and offered to take many pictures of us along the way too!

  We had wonderful trip on 16th January 2026 with viator Giethoorn, afsluitdijk, Zaanse Schans day tour by mini VIP bus. Our guide Eric is very kind and explained everything in advance before we went to every places. He has wide knowledge about the area and answered all questions we asked. He drove safely and timing was also excellent. We had right choice to visit beautiful places outside Amsterdam.

  Such a cool tour! We went during the off season so it was cold but way less crowded. We stopped at Zaanse Shans, got some cheese samples and saw a clog-making demonstration. Stopped along the Afsluitdijk. Lastly went to Giethoorn and took a canal tour. Our guide, Eric, was awesome. He was very personable, knowledgeable, and fun. There were 9 in our group, including our guide, and we were picked up and dropped off right in front of our hotel in a private van. Highly recommend this tour

  We had an absolutely wonderful experience on this tour, and much of that is thanks to our incredible guide, Leidse. From the very beginning, he was warm, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. He made us feel welcome right away and ensured the entire day ran smoothly. Leidse shared fascinating insights about Dutch history, culture, and daily life, and he did so with humor and heart. Each stop — Zaanse Schans, Afsluitdijk, and Giethoorn — was thoughtfully timed and beautifully explained, allowing us to truly enjoy and appreciate each place without feeling rushed. What stood out most was how attentive and accommodating he was, always checking in to make sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. This was one of the highlights of our trip, and we would highly recommend both the tour and Leidse to anyone visiting the Netherlands.

  We had a fantastic time on the Giethoorn and Zaanse Schans tour. Our guide, Leidse, made the experience truly special. He was incredibly friendly and gave such informative explanations about the history and culture of the places we visited. Highly recommended!
