This unique tour will bring you to the most famous scenic spots in the Netherlands, which are Giethoorn, Afsluitdijk and Zaanse Schans within one day.
In our journey, you would visit a dutch cheese factory, a wooden shoes factory and enjoy a royal diamond demonstration at Zaanse Schans; After that a beautiful photo stop at Afsluitdijk, the longest dike of the world; In the afternoon, you would discover green 'Little Venice' of Holland and enjoy one hour free boat cruise in Giethoorn.
This tour offers free hotel pick-up service within Amsterdam; a luxury and comforable mini bus (Mecedes brand) with maximum 8 persons; and a free bottle of water (one bottle per traveler).
This 10 hours experience gives you a relaxed, memorable and enjoyable tour with a lot of beautiful photos. One remark: Making new friends on the road won't be a bad idea of your travel.

You would expect to have following activities in our VIP tour at Zaanse Schans. you would have a private dutch cheese factory tour, to understand how to make cheese in the traditional way. You could taste more than 26 different types of cheese here. After that, we will take you to a private wooden shoes factory tour. You would watch a live demonstration of making wooden shoes by a traditional clog maker. After that you would have a private Royal Amsterdam Diamond tour, to know the history of diamond, and enjoy the diamond with 268 cuts. Of course you would have your own free time to get close to the windmills and take photos.
Catharina Hoeve Cheese Farm
This attraction is the first stop at Zaanse Schans. As described above, you would experience this old cheese farm/factory, to have a private tour of how to make traditional dutch cheese, get to know the history of this cheese farm, and cheese tasting with more than 26 different flavors.

5.00This was a great tour! The tour began with an on-time pickup and our phenomenal tour guide Eric, who was very knowledgeable and informative. He took care of all the details and even carried my bag around after I made a purchase at a stop so I could continue looking around and taking pictures! Zaanse Schans was very picturesque and we liked the clog and cheese making demos. We are glad we visited Giethoorn and got to experience the Dutch countryside. It is a lovely place. The tiny town was extremely crowded with people and boats on the canal. What made all the difference was Eric drove our boat expertly and took us a “secret way” so we could avoid the crowds and have a relaxing experience.
Fantastic tour. Will not be disappointed.

5.00Loved this tour and Eric did a fantastic tour. Took us to some amazing sights and gave us some great insights into the history of the places we saw. There was ample time to see the sights and to pick up a few goodies on the way. A must when visiting Amsterdam!

5.00Perfectly wonderful day. Eight of us including the driver/guide Eric were transported around in a Mercedes van. Very comfortable. All the places we went were wonderful examples of the Netherlands historical culture. Eric was the “most delightful in every way” guide. Knowledgeable, funny, understandable, and kind in his response to all questions. This trip was worth every penny. Way to go Viator for hiring Eric!
