This unique tour will bring you to the most famous scenic spots in the Netherlands, which are Giethoorn, Afsluitdijk and Zaanse Schans within one day.

In our journey, you would visit a dutch cheese factory, a wooden shoes factory and enjoy a royal diamond demonstration at Zaanse Schans; After that a beautiful photo stop at Afsluitdijk, the longest dike of the world; In the afternoon, you would discover green 'Little Venice' of Holland and enjoy one hour free boat cruise in Giethoorn.

This tour offers free hotel pick-up service within Amsterdam; a luxury and comforable mini bus (Mecedes brand) with maximum 8 persons; and a free bottle of water (one bottle per traveler).

This 10 hours experience gives you a relaxed, memorable and enjoyable tour with a lot of beautiful photos. One remark: Making new friends on the road won't be a bad idea of your travel.

Zaanse Schans

You would expect to have following activities in our VIP tour at Zaanse Schans. you would have a private dutch cheese factory tour, to understand how to make cheese in the traditional way. You could taste more than 26 different types of cheese here. After that, we will take you to a private wooden shoes factory tour. You would watch a live demonstration of making wooden shoes by a traditional clog maker. After that you would have a private Royal Amsterdam Diamond tour, to know the history of diamond, and enjoy the diamond with 268 cuts. Of course you would have your own free time to get close to the windmills and take photos.

This attraction is the first stop at Zaanse Schans. As described above, you would experience this old cheese farm/factory, to have a private tour of how to make traditional dutch cheese, get to know the history of this cheese farm, and cheese tasting with more than 26 different flavors.

What an experience! Our tour guide, Erik, was really nice. He was very knowledgeable as he told us history while traveling to our stops. These stops are very touristy, first was zaanse schans, it would have been slightly better if we were to get there even earlier than the time we started, a lot of people from big tour buses roll in and it becomes less enjoyable when trying to taste all the cheeses. It was a mad house but still able to try the cheeses and take some home. Giethoorn wasn’t as busy to my surprise but still enough people around. Very cute village and the boat ride was very relaxing and beautiful
So happy I booked this!

We had the most amazing experience with our guide Leidse. He truly made our last day so special, taking us to incredible spots we never would have found or navigated well on our own. He was thoughtful, attentive, and took such great care of us from start to finish. He answered every question our group had. We couldn’t be happier with how this tour turned out—highly recommend, especially the small group format!

Excellent tour with our guide Erik! From Zaanse with its village wooden shoes and cheese tours and it's old world windmills and history, to an epic journey across and stop on the Afsluitdijk, to an incredible afternoon exploring the beautiful historic canal village of Giethoorn and riding with our guide along its adorable canals and swan filled lake, this was a trip we will always remember! And the trip back to Amsterdam with stops and views of several fields of blooming tulips was icing in the cake! Tomorrow, more museums!

Unreliable! Booked months ahead through Trip Advisor. Booked other events for remainder of vacation so no flexibility on the date. They canceled the trip the day before reportedly due to insufficient numbers. Based on the fact that this is during peak tulip season and all other tours through Trip Advisor were sold out for that date, it appears there was another reason for cancellation. Very disappointing!!!!

Erik Yang Liu was an outstanding tour director! We had an amazing day learning so much about the Netherlands, it's history and people. From Zaanse with its village wooden shoes and cheese tours and it's old world windmills and history, to an epic journey across and stop on the Afsluitdijk, to an incredible afternoon exploring the beautiful historic canal village of Giethoorn and riding with Erik along its adorable canals and swan filled lake, this was a trip we will always remember! Reinier was amazing! Reinier was very knowledgeable, energetic, and cheery, sharing fascinating history about Amsterdam while showing us great photo spots and helping us take pictures. He also gave excellent recommendations for places to eat and visit. Giethoorn was beautiful and not too crowded, which made the experience even better. Reinier was a great boat driver and even let us try steering on the lake, which was a fun highlight. He also kindly helped carry our souvenirs to the car. Overall, an amazing trip—highly recommended!

eric was our tour guide. he was very nice and knowledgeable. all the stops were great. we had adequate time in each stop to shop and see the sights. would definitely book again.
