5.00Tour Guide was Great!! Our 1st time in Europe..August=Hot +A TON of steps in this excursion, ramps, hills, uneven surfaces. Bring water with you!!! I would have stayed in Costa Brava x 6 hours if I could. Perfect water temp. Bars/restaurants close.

3.00Parts of this were great, and parts could use some tweaking. We went in July, so it is worth noting that this might be more enjoyable if is wasn't 36C plus humidity. I wanted more *tour* and less free time. The guided tour of Girona should have been longer, even if we had cut 30mins from the beach part of the day to add a few here it would have made a big difference. By the time we did the guided tour of the city and we're given free time we had maybe 30mins and the bus was 10mins away, so you couldn't wander far. The guide had given us a map with lots to do but we felt too rushed to see most of it. The beach town was far too hot to enjoy. We spent the 2+ hours of free time trying to find shade and staying hydrated. The families in our group were excited for the beach, but we would have needed a shade umbrella to enjoy it without overheating.

5.00It was a great experience for my daughter and I. Our tour guide Marta was very knowledgeable and personable. We visit Pals, Girona and Costa Brava. Our tickets included a Paella lunch. We were the only one in our group with that option. We were taken to a restaurant for lunch; the food was great. We then had some beach time before meeting back with the group to head to Girona.
