I had an absolutely unforgettable day trip to Girona and the Costa Brava with In Out Barcelona Tours, led by our incredible tour guide, Aleix. From the moment we set off, Aleix’s enthusiasm and deep knowledge of Catalonia made this adventure truly special. Girona was a revelation—a medieval gem that completely captivated us. Wandering through its ancient streets, we were charmed by the vibrant houses along the Onyar River, the majestic cathedral, and the historic city walls. Aleix brought the city to life with fascinating stories and insider tips, turning what we thought would be a simple stop into a highlight of our trip. His passion for Girona’s history and culture was infectious, making every moment feel like a discovery. The lunch in Girona’s old town was a standout experience. Aleix led us to a cozy, authentic restaurant where we savored a phenomenal Catalan meal. From the rich, smoky flavors of escalivada to the melt-in-your-mouth fideuà, every dish was a celebration of local cuisine. It was clear he knew the best spots to showcase Catalonia’s culinary heart. Our day wrapped up at the Costa Brava, where the rugged coastline and sparkling Mediterranean waters left us in awe. Aleix guided us to a beautiful beach, where we relaxed and soaked in the serene beauty of the coast. His thoughtful pacing ensured we had plenty of time to enjoy the sun and sea, the perfect end to a day of exploration. Aleix’s warmth, expertise, and attention to detail made this trip with In Out Barcelona Tours truly exceptional. The itinerary was perfectly balanced, blending history, food, and nature, all brought to life by Aleix’s engaging storytelling and genuine care for our experience.

Alex was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide showing us areas of Costa Brava and especially so in Girona. He managed our time well and extended beyond his time to make up for a late art by two guests.
