Start your culinary exploration of medieval Girona on this mouth-watering ´all-in´ guided walking tour and see the cultural highlights of our magnificent city, whilst tasting your way around it. In a fun and educational way, our passionate foodie guide will lead you through the old city, showing you the hidden gems and tell you the stories and legends behind Catalan culture, food, and culinary traditions. You will visit the local, indoor food market , bustling bakeries, traditional family-run local eateries and will meet artisan food producers (some of them ¨in business¨ for over 100 years!). And of course, you can´t leave our country without tasting the Spanish delicacy Jamon Iberico, paired with a chilled glass of cava. We finalize our tour with a gourmet ice cream at Rocambolesc, Girona´s most famous ice cream shop by Jordi Roca.

5.00With 22 participants, a family, 3 generations, between 71 years and 3 months... You can stand on it. Marc offered a program full of stories and experiences for the youngest and at the same time informatively relaxed and delicious (!) for the adults. Top day!

5.00What a wonderful experience. We were 12 golfers from Ireland. Gina was the perfect host, good fun, friendly and knowledgeable. We ate the most amazing food and drink very good wine. Everyone had a fabulous evening. We would highly recommend this for anyone who likes good company, great food and wine

5.00Went on this tour with three friends as a "private" group. Our guide Gina was fantastic, she has a great depth of historical knowledge about Girona itself and its food. She was great fun and was happy to talk about anything and everything - food, history, politics. The tour ended up lasting 5 hours as we got lost in great food and great conversation. Would highly recommend.

5.00We did a private tour with Marc that included a visit to the market and it was WONDERFUL! As a family that likes food and travel, we've gone on food walking tours in other cities and this was definitely #1. Marc is an excellent guide who is equally engaging with kids and adults. He showed us wonderful spots in Girona, included historical facts and customized our experience based on food preferences/limitations of our family. We recommend Girona Food Tours and especially MARC!

5.00Our family had only one day in Girona and in the couple of hours spent with Marc on his incredible tour we got an amazing lesson in history and gastronomy! Most importantly as a parent was how engaging he was with our young children all while educating and sharing facts in a way in which they could easily understand. Every stop on our food tour was delicious and carefully curated to create an authentic experience. Food is made with so much heart and passion in Girona and we tasted it. An absolute must do tour if in Girona!

5.00Fantastic food tour through downtown Girona! Attention to Catalan cuisine and culinary customs and a meanwhile taste and enjoy the stories of Marc. We did the tour with 10 people and really enjoyed it in every way!

5.00Had the best time! For the limited amount of time we had in Girona, we saw more, learnt more, and tasted more than we had expected and hoped, and more than we could have on our own. Such a joy and so much fun. Thank you guys SO much!

5.00If you want a complete tour between technical explanations, typical Girona food, tapas, wine,...this is your place. It was an important business event and Marc, Gina and the whole team were lovely. Very complete tour of 3 restaurants and a famous ice cream parlor, very enjoyable and interesting explanations. 3 hours that fly by. 100% recommended to discover Girona and its gastronomy 👌🏻 thank you for everything, a pleasure
