Lincoln was a fantastic guide, engaging, informative and genuinely caring. He really became part of the experience. We also lucked out with a small group of just six people, which made the day feel even more personal and special. The journey on the Express was incredible and absolutely lived up to expectations. Just be prepared for several additional train connections throughout the day alongside the main scenic ride. Lucerne was a beautiful added bonus to an already unforgettable day. One suggestion for improvement: perhaps organising a minivan or car transfer back to Zurich after Lucerne could make the finish a little smoother. It’s a long day, and the final train journey takes a tiny bit of the shine off an otherwise amazing experience. Overall, if you’re short on time and want to experience some of the very best of Switzerland, this tour is absolutely worth doing.

Our guide on our tour, Rocky, was fabulous. However, the tour started 30 minutes after the scheduled time, we were put on a train by one guide, and told that our guide would meet us at the platform at the next station. There was no sign given to the tour guide to identify himself. He was not provided with any equipment to be able to communicate with us during our tour, and it was difficult to get a hold of the tour company initially. Thank goodness for Rocky. Once we made connection with him, he turned the day around and made our day wonderful. I would not recommend using this company again who ran this tour, but I would hire Rocky any day of the week.

What a great day. Rocky met us at the Zurich HB and we took off. The train ride to Chur, the transfer to The Glacier Express were informative and very scenic. The Alps themselves are a sight to see. The journey down to Lucerne was a totally different view! We had snow, sun, and warmth all in one journey. A lovely and enjoyable day.
This was a lovely tour seeing the Alps and spending time in the Swiss countryside. Relaxing and exhilarating.

This was a very scenic tour including rides in several trains plus a bus, including a walking tour of the beautiful city of Lucerne. Without a doubt, the absolute best part of the tour was Lincoln Santos, our tour guide. Lincoln is extremely knowledgeable and has an engaging personality. Thanks to him, the 10 hour tour seemed like a 2 hour tour. Also interesting is that Lincoln is fluent in 6 languages. He spoke to my wife and I in Spanish and to the other couple in the tour in English.

Wonderful experience. Lincoln was an excellent guide, not just for the best viewing spots, but also to navigate the array of forms of transportation to allow us to do the Glacier Train tour, see Lucerne, and get back to Zurich in the same day. Expensive trip, but absolutely worth it.

Soo many trains to connect with. I didn’t realize we would see all the sites Enjoyed the glacier express train was fantastic. Loved being able to stop quickly for photos.

It was a very long day. Views were beautiful. Not much shopping to be worth stopping in other towns. Anything to shorten the day would be helpful. Glacier Express is the highlight. Rail transit was clean and comfortable. Friendly guide but difficult to understand him, and he didn’t always face us when speaking so it was hard to hear. He does not have a loud voice.

Our guide on our tour, Rocky, was fabulous.
