We have had a great expirience. Our tour gide Helen was super entousiastic and fun and made the tour very interesting and fun. She could tell with great passion and jokes the history and the making of the wisky. Would defenitely recommend this tour.

Wonderful tour of a lowland whisky distillery only 40 mins from Edinburgh. Beautiful countryside and very attractive visitor centre and garden. The tour was very informative and interesting, covering the whole process of whisky production and the history of the East Lothian distillery. We were escorted by a wonderful guide (Kirsten) who made it a very enjoyable Sunday afternoon on a grey drizzly February day! The location would be even more stunning on a sunny day! The whisky tasting was also excellent and very well organised by Kirsten and the team. I especially liked the care given to the person driving... by giving me an alcohol free "Highball" and a lovely kit in which to take home the various whisky drams to try later! There is also an attractive upstairs bar to finish the tasters at leisure. You can also pop in there just for a coffee or lunch if you are out walking in the surrounding countryside (dogs also welcome!). Everyone we met made us feel very welcome and it has a lovely vibe! Well worth a visit!!

We had a party of 16 comprised of French, English and Scottish friends (longstanding rugby relationships). The tour was excellent, both informative and fun! Our guide, John B, was first class and joined in the cross border banter! I would recommend the experience to all, whether you are Whisky enthusiasts or not.

My dad and I visited Glenkinchie as part of a trip to Edinburgh in January. The tour guide, Helen, was amazing. She kept the tour informative, interesting and fun. The grounds were beautiful and the staff top to bottom were an absolute delight. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting and interested in checking out a distillery in Scotland. I've been to tours for Bourbon and breweries across multiple states in the US and this was one of the best I've ever done.

Had a class time at the distillery. Our guide Keith was absolutley class, really informative, interesting and great chat. The distillery itself is absolutley gorgeous with a lovley visitors centre, drawing our own dram from a cask was a first for me and was good fun!

We had an amazing experience at the Glenkinchie. We’ve learned a lot of the distillery itself. The tasting was out of this world and we were luck to have our tour guide being Helen. She proved to be a truly passionate enthusiast of the history of both Glenkinchie and Johnnie Walker as well. Her dedication and genuine enthusiasm were evident at every stage of the tour, making us feel truly special.

When we arrived, we were immediately greeted by our stellar tourguide John B. I was a complete newbie to the world of whisky, but thanks to John, I got a good grip on the different flavours. We also took a private tour of the distillery (which we booked on in addition to the tasting). John explained every step of the process very comprehensively and we could even draw whisky from the barrel by hand, which was an amazing experience. We strongly recommend this tour to anyone who’s interested in the art of whisky making. If you happen to have John as your guide, you will not be disappointed. His knowledge paired with his enthusiasm and true devotion to his job makes the experience extra special. We will definitely return!

Helen is an incredible tour guide. She kept us engaged through out the tour, with amazing stories and lots of humour. The bar area has a beautiful view over the garden and burn, with helpful staff and a good selection of nibbles and whisky. The shop is set out in a way that you can freely move around and the staff are knowledgeable and very helpful.

Had an amazing time on the tour, went as a birthday treat, our guide Helen was brilliant, very knowledgeable and very funny! The tasting at the end was obviously a highlight!
