5.00We had a great afternoon visit. We learned a lot about the history of the distillery from Nick our very well-informed and talented guide. We all came away wiser and me poorer than when I went in. My fault I’m afraid as I had to buy a particular bottle which I could not resist as the taste was sooo smooth.

5.00We had a fantastic tour at Glenkinchie yesterday. It was really interesting to see the distillery and learn more about the whisky-making process. Our guide, Willie, was excellent — knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about what he does. The tasting itself was great as well, with an interesting and well-chosen selection of whiskies. After the tour we stayed a bit longer at the bar for some more whisky and light snacks, which were also excellent. A thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish, and highly recommended for whisky lovers and newcomers alike.

5.00It was truly an excellent experience and highlight of visiting Edinburgh. The tour gives both an overview of Scotch in general as well as the process and peculiarities of Lowland and Glenkinchie scotch itself, a worthwhile time for amateurs and experts alike. Our tour guide Kirsty was knowledgeable and friendly and really made the tour for us. The Scotch we got to taste was incredible, both the selection for the tour and the flights available in the bar after the tour. The store had a selection of Scotch more diverse than I’ve ever seen and I was able to pick up multiple unique bottles I wouldn’t have been able to pick up anywhere else. Willie was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable when we were picking out our bottles. Definitely a must see and it’s easy access from Edinburgh makes it easy to justify going. Definitely worth visiting if you want family business vibes from a large and high quality distillery.

5.00Not at all what I expected. I've been to many other distilleries, but this has been the most postive one of all. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Our tour group was fairly small - about 7 people. The tour itself covered the history, production process and a tasting of the current core range. There was even a short course on tasting notes of the whisky. Well worth the price of admission. It was also refreshing to see people that care about the brand and want to provide a great atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone that loves whisky or are simply curious about it. Would recommend!

5.00Willie our tour guide was amazing!! He was very engaging and we learned a lot of new things about Scotch whiskey. The storytelling leading up to the tasting was a memorable experience. The distillery is 5 star, modern and in beautiful location. Highly recommend doing this tour.
