We loved this excursion to Goddafoss waterfall and Forest Lagoon, which also included the turf house. Our guide and driver for the day was Thora, and she was wonderful! It was nice to have a small group rather than a big bus full of prople. We learned so much about Iceland from Thora durinf this tour. It's obvious she really cares about her guests visiting Iceland and wants them to have a great experience. We loved every part of this tour. The turf house was so interesting - I wish I would have had the booklet they give you in advance so I could read it on the way there. There was just not quite enough time to read everything and see everything, and to visit the little authentic gift shop, before we had to leave! But we had to get to the waterfall, which was absolutely beautiful. We were treated with a coffee and a snack afterwards, which was wonderful. Then on to Forest Lagoon, which was also great. We had plenty of time there, and it's a beautiful, relaxing experience. This place is top notch - so well maintained and runs so smoothly. No problem with bugs either. Overall a really great day. Saga Travel is a great company to do a tour through. I loved how organized they were and how easy it was to find them when exiting the ship. Thanks again Thora!

It was a great tour. The falls are beautiful. Loved the farm stop with the authentic Icelandic turf house. Forest spas were a nice end of the day. Perfect amount of time. Easy to get to from cruise ship and on time to return.

Knowledgeable, informative tour guide. Julie arrived at the port early, and showed us a lovely day. The Forest Lagoon was very nice, fun that you could relax with a drink while soaking! The museum of the old turf house was interesting, and the falls were very pretty. Luckily we had a beautiful day, and best of all, our small tour was just my husband and me!

What a great trip this was, we were so pleased that we went on it. Belen was a super guide, she was really interesting without overwhelming us with lots of facts and figures. We felt that the perfect amount of time was spent at each attraction. The Saga Travel hut was just outside the cruise terminal and we were then escorted to our vehicle which was just a minute or two walk away. There were 6 of us in total on this trip and we were given bottled water for the journey. We first went to the traditional turf houses and church then onto the waterfall (which was spectacular) and then we had a couple of hours at the lagoon. We were very lucky with the weather which was 17 degrees and a blue sky, sunny day. This has been my most enjoyable trip so far in Iceland. Not too much travelling but lots to see and with a great guide.
